Video Games. The most collaborative art form? Recently watched behind the scenes of Red Dead redemption 2. Eight years in the making that thing is wild
that came to my mind too, but thinking more, movies > games in terms of human collaboration more varied teams, all has to work synchronised for the camera. In game dev people work on their individual stuff and splice things together.
@@lordmorklen5166 compared to movies have been? its very recently, that too few studios that do blockbuster games. Whereas movies have been doing outdoor incredible stuff since over half a century. Look at making of Ben Hur, Lawrence of Arabia, Star Wars, Cleopatra, Apocalypse Now, etc Game Dev happens in cubicles, people working mostly solitary weather Art or Coding. Any group work is collaborative, and games are very much so. However movies are an edge in that department
There is a more collaborating art form than filmmaking. It's game development, which can possess all the elements of filmmaking along with even more elements like coding, graphic design, etc.

@@gopalarora9997 That is very true, but not the point Point of discussion is, which is most collaborative arts medium. Where many many people have to work in unison to accomplish the result. Solo painting, poem writing etc are on the opposite end of the spectrum. Whereas Games and Movies are the other extreme. And movies are slightly more collaborative, as I said everything has to work together at one time in front of the camera, there are tonnes of departments, etc Games are a close second, but because the way they are developed, it is still people mostly working solo and clubbing things once a while. Please don't misunderstand, I am not pulling digital games from their pedestal, just arguing that movies are indeed slightly more collaboration heavy. An army is even more, but it is no exactly relevant as arts example
@@DeadPoolWeapon From what I understand of game development, it isn't as individualistic as you make it sound. If you look at games like RDR2 and Detroit Become Human, they're filming it like movies, editing and scoring it later like movies, everyone does have to work together in front of the camera and there is a lot of work put in post production. Sure, they don't have practical sets like some films, but that's already a rarity in filmmaking as things move towards reliance on VFX and green screen. Game development does have a lot of individual parts, but people do have to work in unison for the entire process of music, storytelling, character design, etc. Also, being in front of the camera isn't even half of the work that needs to be done to make films, and that's also similar to game development.
@@gopalarora9997 not arguing if Game Dev is collaborative or not. Already said it is an example of most collaborative art forms. Never argued otherwise. Just saying that movies are a tad bit more reliant on collaborative. It is only recently, as said, that games have come close to the scale, whereas movies have been so since over half a decade
What is Spielberg level, lmao??? Even Spielberg calls himself a movie director, not a filmmaker. As Americans, you exactly know what's the difference between movies & films. His movies are so mainstream. The only thing he's good at is moving the camera; which can be said for most of the directors
Even if they had sent it, it wouldn't have won, they will never give a Oscar to Indian film, had this been directed by Danny Boyle or someone from there they would have given 5oscars
guys you should stop reacting now, i literally havent seen a single thing worth watching in months, u guys are just reacting to anything related to india, u have to check what is trending in india and what our audience likes these days

Sardar Udham probably the best historical event based film ever made on Earth. you can’t get better than it, only as good as it.

It got rejected because it expressed "hatred towards the British"
Video Games. The most collaborative art form? Recently watched behind the scenes of Red Dead redemption 2. Eight years in the making that thing is wild
video games are hella underrated in that aspect. RDR2 and Ghost of Tsushima are masterpieces of cinematic storytelling.

@@DeadPoolWeapon actually video game are far more collaborative and ambitious. And then there’s the scale of it.

@@DeadPoolWeapon That is true for most game development, but there's a lot of real acting and camerawork involved in some games.
