@@milko3990Actually, your question made me reflect on my first comment. I think this play sounds to me not like the end, but the beginning of the world
@@federico6485 also op 16#3 in Gb major, and now after relistening I can say Db maj one definitely feels like beauty which is quite hard to describe, I mean not in how extreme that beauty is, but in it's 'gentleness'
The way pianist repeated that note twice at 3:28 is quite scriabinistic, because Scriabin himself did the same thing on his piano roll recording of op.11 #1
The No.3 of this set is similar to his Second Sonata. Impressionistic in texture yet Chopinesque in the sense of bel canto and romantic harmony and flavour
She is generally speaking good at everything scriabin. she rarely misses. for the more popular pieces there are some better performances by the greats though
No. 5 sounds like the end of the world
I dont think so, it ends in F major
@@luden6794 How do you know the world won't end in F major ?

Because of the major chord in the end of the play.
no.3 is just OMG. such a hidden jewel. it's like i'm in a bathtub in the heaven.
Reminds of op 16 #1

Such delicacy!
Yes really it's just wow
Man No. 2 sounds like it would be around his opus 40 or something. great stuff
Yes, it foreshadows
No. 6 is ethereal, jazzy and “modern”-so economical and subtle.
The moment at 1:51 in prelude 2 is so amazingly good, i wish he expanded on that idea more

Except there’s also a recording of Scriabin playing this exact prelude and he doesn’t do that 😅
And also when he played his famous etude Op. 8 no 12.
Incredible performance. The sound quality is incredible
No 4 is my fav

No. 2 funny Chopin melody
Despite the lack of musicality of the pianist, these are great pieces!
What didn't you like about the pianist?
Imagine you have recorded all (!) piano works of scriabin and have to read such a comment...
This is Maria Lettberg, one of the greatest Scriabin performers…
The dissonances in No.6 are mesmerizing
Has some sophisticated Bacn vibe

Tender, but clear. Powerful when needed. I wasn't familiar with Lettberg.
