This was a really good episode. It showed how much Ron cared for his friends and wanted to be with them but in the end he couldn't anymore. He was even willing to work for the Federal government.
yeah it kind of perfectly summed up Ron and his character Arc... he has the stoic, stone wall exterior, but inside he's a got a big heart and cares about his friends more than anything. it's really well done!
Lyrics: Harry Truman was a guy, America, Red China, All the countries, other people, Everyone is fun Joe Mantegna, Ian McKellen, I have to buy a new toaster, This is awesome, you’re so stupid, Jumping up and down Verse 2 Freddy Krueger, pots and pans, Oprah has a turtle farm, Peter Piper, peepee poopy, Daddy ate a squirrel”
One of the best Parks and Rec episodes, This show was pure gold til the very last second of the very last episode, that's why it's so hard to let go 😭😭
i love how i never know what the true lyrics to this song is because i watched this scene, the ODAAT scene where Syd asked Elena to the dance and then Avengers Endgame cast sang this too.
@@ytngw i was just stating that Chris Pratt literally works /acts in marvel movies to your statement "no marvel" Also if you hate it, you can do so no-one cares
yeah same, i love the office but something cool about P&R is that there's not really a bad season unlike S8 ans 9 of the Office. PR is always cool and funny
And then they play Buddy at the end of the episode when Ron and Leslie rearrange the office to look like how it did before they both left. No, *you* ugly cried during that episode.
Nice little detail: She mentions Ron picked "Buddy" as his favourite song, which is the song that plays at the end of the show as he canoes off into his nature reserve
I discovered this song after watching the Avengers: Endgame casts version and after that i became a big Panic! At The Disco fan i know this is not really about what i'm talking about but Brendon Urie sang to Billy Joel's Big shot so its actually about what i'm talking about. (Or i'm just searching a place to talk about Panic!🤣🤣)
A parallel I never noticed buddy by willy Nelson, and we didn't start thr fire both played on the scene where they made up after their fighting, ron played the sax to we didn't start the fire
Leslie Knope has mastered the art of annoyance
Perry Carters knope. She hasn’t :P
Well, at this point she had three year old triplets at home. Probably took some inspiration from their attempts to get her attention
Only person who's worst is Kelly Kapoor, and Ron has masterd... everything
I’d like to see her team up with Peralta to interrogate Pikitis.

Ryan started the fire!
Oh wait...
RandomGuyYT I came here for this comment. I wasn’t disappointed.
"I have to buy a new toaster" I guess she failed Toaster 101 at business school too
@@pbs2 I guess business school doesn't teach you how to use a toaster oven at all!

Have you seen my stapler? I will burn down the building.
He nearly lost it at the "wood is stupid" comment 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You guuyyyysss Ron loves plastic!
It is blasphemy.
Nearly. But it took more than that to break him.
This was a really good episode. It showed how much Ron cared for his friends and wanted to be with them but in the end he couldn't anymore. He was even willing to work for the Federal government.
Don't say it out loud.
This comment was liked by the actual show. It deserves respect.
one of the qualities of ron where he is willing to dance with his enemies for the people he love. Remember london?
yeah it kind of perfectly summed up Ron and his character Arc... he has the stoic, stone wall exterior, but inside he's a got a big heart and cares about his friends more than anything. it's really well done!
Freddy Kruger bought some pans, Orpah has a turtle farm, Peter Piper pee pee poopie, Daddy ate a squirrel!
STOP THIS!!!!🤣🤣🤣
The wiggle dance atlast though
Pure genius!
great idea I will speak with you for 3 minutes
This. Is. Comedy. Gold.
Anyone else want a “We didn’t start the fire” full cover by Leslie Knope?
Tyler Fields I do
National Anthem
no
Yes!
Sort of forgot the actual lyrics weren’t “Ryan started the fire.”
What? Didn't even know it was based on this song.... And I've heard of this song.
@@gcbryan89 have u seen the office?
Bro I was looking for this comment 😂
Ryan can't believe he started the 🔥🤣
You've got to love the fact that none of the other things she did broke him, but massacring Billy Joel's lyrics is what finally did the trick.
Ron's look of absolute disgust broke me.
No, it’s because she insisted Harry Truman was a guy
unstoppable and immovable
the unstoppable has won this encounter
The line that gets Ron is “ Daddy ate a squirrel”
Lol
Would get me to
I think it was the way Leslie got all up in his grill.
My favorite episode of them all...loved how they developed Ron and Amy and settled their dispute...beautiful
Leslie**
Ik Amy is her real name
When people get chummy I like to call them by the wrong name to show them I don’t really care for them.
Yeah Nick and Leslie did a great job
Lyrics:
Harry Truman was a guy,
America, Red China,
All the countries, other people,
Everyone is fun
Joe Mantegna, Ian McKellen, I have to buy a new toaster, This is awesome, you’re so stupid,
Jumping up and down
Verse 2
Freddy Krueger, pots and pans,
Oprah has a turtle farm,
Peter Piper, peepee poopy,
Daddy ate a squirrel”
Oh dang, I always thought it was Freddy Krueger bought some pants.
I think its bought some pants
“Everyone is fun” made me laugh out loud for so long the first time I heard it. Then Ron’s expression 😂😂😂😂
I totally would've cracked at "daddy ate a squirrel" too, not from annoyance, but laughter. Just look at the way she wiggles her arms ~(^o^)~
One of the best Parks and Rec episodes, This show was pure gold til the very last second of the very last episode, that's why it's so hard to let go 😭😭
“This is awesome, you’re so stupid, jumping up and down...” I love the little March she does at that point 😂😂🥰🥰
Y’all ever just be chillin and your brain goes: “Daddy ate a squirrel!”?? Cuz...same.
How is no one talking about leslie's hair OMG she looks so good like extra good if that's possible
She didn’t sing it to him, she sang it at him. 😂
0:55 - That's why Leslie is a political genius.
1:38 I love her face here

I love their attention to detail, like Ron's expression when Leslie mentions Willie Nelson's "Buddy"
0:44
The face Leslie makes after Ron's "stop it" gets me every time
I feel like Leslie left and we got improv Amy at the end there.
Honestly couldn't blame her thats damn impressive to learn all the lines and sing them
"daddy ate a squirrel" 🤣
“RYAN STARTED THE FIRE” - Dwight Shrute
I just fell in love with Leslie.
this is my favourite episode 😩
As a Billy Joel fan, I'm so proud that he was the only thing to break Ron. He can take a punch he can take heartbreak, but he can't take Billy :)
I'm surprised she didn't utter the phrase, " I must break you." in Hollywood's idea of a Russian accent.
I honestly thought the line was "Freddy Krueger bought some pants" LOL
this is an amazing insight into Leslie's brain
Does this count as breaking the Fourth Wall? Technically Jerry is not Jerry at this time, he's like Terry or Larry by now...
Well, his name was Jerry when that barbecue happened
@@ultimateking9849 i think its a cycle.
@@ultimateking9849 actually it was always Gary.
It’ve just finished the show and still don’t know if he is Jerry or Larry or Gary
It’s more like an unintentional and unnoticed slip up. Also, I don’t think it’s possible to “fourth wall break” in a mockumentary....
I am actually cry laughing at Leslie’s version of We Didn’t Start the Fire 🤣🤣
Okay but this scene made we didn’t start the fire one of my fav songs tbh
This episode made me almost love this more than the office every part was amazing

“Daddy ate a squirrel-“
I like how I haven't heard this song in years but can still sing it perfectly
01:15 The look of a man that could kill even Thanos.
i've been waiting for this clip to be uploaded
Hard to call but this is my favourite scene.
Nice little detail: She mentions Ron picked "Buddy" as his favourite song, which is the song that plays at the end of the show as he canoes off into his nature reserve
No other scene made me laugh as much as this
The only one I like more is the one that shows how they all are after they have drank Snork juice
one of the best bottle episodes in TV history!
I need "Oprah has a turtle farm" on a t-shirt right now.
"This is awesome You are stupid Jumping up and down" is basically the plot of every classic series Mega Man game
Oprah does have a turtle farm
Anyone else prefer Leslie's rendition of "We Didn't Start the Fire"?
Of course they didn’t start the fire Ryan did
"Daddy ate a squirrel" bahahahahaah
as someone who particularly enjoys "we didn't start the fire" I had to cringe and yet also laugh at Leslie butchering the lyrics
Freddy Krueger, pots and pans, Oprah has a turtle farm 😛😃😝😅😂😆🤣🤣
Finally, you guys uploaded this clip
Trailer Park Boys, Always Sunny, Community & this... One day I will find the time to commit to the unreal binge these shows deserve...
We didn't start the fire, Ryan did.
She brought the whole box....for 1 CD.
Jerry has great taste in music
I expected him to break the whole stereo not just turn it off...
ron is trying so hard not to laugh🤣
I love that song.
Jerry has amazing music taste
This should be included into a book *The art of Torture* by Leslie Knope :D
Leslie singing this song randomly popped into my head recently, and i had to find this video to hear it! lol
It's true they didn't start the fire but Ryan did
Every man has a breaking point. You could just tell immediately that this was Ron's.
Once she pulled out the Billy Joel, it only took her 28 seconds to break Ron.
RYAN STARTED THE FIRE !!
Ryan started the fire
It just started burning
Hey the temp’s still learning
Ryan started the fire
But didn’t hide it
Because Dwight did find it
talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome, talktome..
Ron's the human grumpy cat.
I love this scene, what a friend.
All she had to do was buy some meatless bacon and bring it to the office for him.
Ron likes Willie Nelson? I wouldn't have expected otherwise.
I was expecting Ron to get his crossbow out 😂
"You guys, Ron loves plastic!"
this line makes me laugh harder than it should 😂
Rons entire financial wellfare could have been compromised right there
"Daddy has a squirrel." 😂

Lol, she won and got what she wanted from Ron. How many people can say that. That alone speaks volumes about her Greatness.
This plays in my head way more than it should
“Daddy ate a squirrel!” 🎶
Something subliminal about Jerry. Kristy Brinkley plays his wife and he likes Billy Joel songs. The writers are really good.
sounds simular to a song called RYAN STARTED THE FIRE
It just started burning;
Hey, the temp’s still learning!
Imagine Ryan from the office playing a delivery guy and walking by, pausing, and then quickly moving on.
Did you know amy poehler played a character on Conan in the 90s she played Stacey Andy’s young brother, she has come along way since then.
(Gasp) Leslie! That squirrel had a family
Jerry has good taste
why did i never realised in that the office episode that it was a real song
yeah, Leslie and Ron didn't start the fire. It was Ryan.
I demand the full song!
My initial guess was "Freddy Krueger bought some pants"
