- Aiming tips in Halo Infinite are everywhere. But most of them are subjective are not a one size fits all. I found a method that anyone can use to improve their aim in Halo as fast as possible. It took a lot of research but was a ton of fun.

Question: I haven't really noticed. Does the dot above the head (optimal weapon range) appear in casual modes as well or only in the methods you were trying? Haven't noticed it before but doesn't mean it's not there. LOL.
Decision making regarding objective play.
When to pull the flag, where to run it, when to stop the run and fight with the team.
When to go for the oddball, when to hold/drop/rotate/play the ball.
When to go for the stronghold / hill, leave it to fight with team, hold position, block spawns.
How to not die so much. Or maybe you already covered this. I’ll look into your video history

I subconsciously forgot the older halos didn't have permanent outlines and am just now remembering how weird it was when I first played Infinite. This is a great idea keep up the good work.
I like both ways tbh, but outlines unfortunately is ass in infinite since teams aren't colored :(
Is anyone experiencing a lot of jitter, latency, and high ms ping since recent update? It's driving me nuts

I started experiencing this just last night. I was in 13 ping and somehow getting random jitters on screen. Servers have been worse. 100+ ping on 4 or so games yesterday as well.
That's the only way the game has ever played for me honestly
Seeing significantly worse issues in season 4, yeah
I stopped playing on my PC and started playing it on my Series S because of all the unstableness, lag and frame drops. It runs bad.

Very good video! Your videos have actually helped me a lot figuring out what I need to improve on. I usually think to myself just die less because I usually die the most on my team, but I've realised it's more stuff like this that will lead to less deaths and not just thinking about not dying. But also the background song around the 12 minute mark has been absolutely ruined for me by Slimecicles jorts song lol

This was a profound experience. I found that I was less "flicky" without a reticle, even with the sniper, which translated really well to real play. Offset also matters a lot more when you don't have a reticle.
Great video Dodds! I think it would be cool if you could make a video with a roadmap (referring to your videos and challenges) teaching us in wich order we should learn and practice so we can go from a casual/noob player to a high level one. Keep the content!!

I don't know if it would be too useful for controller players but if your monitor's software allows you to overlay a crosshair, if you can customize it, use it to overkay a dot at the center od the screen, allows for precise adjustments if you are good
How do you get the yellow dot to show on top of the head when in optimal range ? It’s not showing for me on Xbox series x.

When your doing the 60 second challenge and your moving from target to target are you only using the right stick or a combination of both. would love to know. Im really struggling with the aim in halo
You should try to find out how to get perfect sticks every time, no other way just sticks, i tried it, and its really fun but hard, once you master it tho, you will annoy the hell out of the other team.
I’ve switch inputs in halo .Lol I’ve been doing this on Mnk now in Bots training a lot of fun .have to think about the centre of the screen more than aim assist on Mnk but still works well…. Can’t lie some of the guns are kinda fun with no reticle…. I also for some reason don’t get the dot above the enemy’s head when I take off the HUD but it’s there like normal with the HUD on …. Anyways cool video dude people should try this it’s kinda fun low key
Is there a setting you can alter so that the dot only appears over the enemy head when they're in your reticle? I either see no dot or its there 100% of the time. Not sure what I'm missing. Awesome video btw!
I also prefer the gameplay with no hud, except it really hurts in objective modes. Is there a way to turn off everything besides the objective on hud? Also idk if its because im on pc, but enemy outlines turn off or on themselves when i turn off hud, also sometimes kill feed is visible, sometimes its not when going no hud in pvp

What a rad time!
Ive been using no hud warmups for periods off and on for a long time. My new flavor aka"pain" is run training mode in 4 v 1 on the hardest settings, give the bots all sniper and pistol and turn off hud. I also set rules of no power weapon pickup for me, if theres a sniper laying there i have to pick it up, then if i have a sniper it hast to be used in every kill, and only no scopes allowed

i tried this for just one game, no hud , and it really helped. now i win nearly all my fights. aslo its strangely calming just not having a hud

Aimbotz and just regular slayer
After going through campaign on LASO I went into multiplayer without the hud to see what I could do and I got 35 kills in one game and 34 in another.

HUD has to be checked on but the opacity has to be all the way down

Yes. Its all done in accessibility settings and you can find the maps by searching for Aimbotz and Aim Training.

You can't. When he said he had no aim assist, he was referring to the exercise where he was shooting those panels.
If you want to shoot at bots you can put them on your team and you won't have aim assist.

When I have my hud off no dot appears when hud is on dot stays there I’m really confused it never just appears when I have my reticle on target
You have to change your HUD opacity to zero i think in accessibility settings. But keep HUD checked on.
You need to turn off “reveal enemy names”. Then it will just show the dot instead of their name

I dunno if mine it's a good way to improve but maybe can help somebody... Go into training mode with a S7 and a bandit with Spartan difficulty bots. It might sound cheap but i actually noticed an improvement with both shooting and strafing😉

I feel superior because ive been playing without outlines since season 2. The game just looks so much better, and theres really not a difference in gameplay to me. I personally think that outlines are redundant and a lazy way to increase visibility to peope who havent played an fps before.

Does the game have aim assist? because I don't believe that players can shoot with accuracy. Overall, it looks like controller (Xbox only?) players with the assist in advantage against pc.
You can use a controller on pc too. You even get aim assist on m&k.
