This is better than the jagger pro because hogs don't have to get used to a lowered fence which can take 1-2 weeks or more time. But the heavy duty weight (required for hog !) means it's a fairly small enclosure. I think the better idea would be to replace the dropping enclosure with a net that rises up instead of dropping down but keep a metallic top pipe where the net would rise and hang itself too via hooks and a tensioned rope system. This should reduce the weight and there is no way the pigs could escape caught like big tunas in hanged net as you are using the net instead of heavy metal to keep them trapped . Then you could built it much bigger while keeping the advantage of no fence when the system is armed. I know this was tried before but the mistake is they dropped the net instead of rising it through sliding guides.

Now I'm sure this is a great system if you doing this professionally and have a team to so the set up and teardown and shifts of monitoring. But for us common folk a old school drop door works great.

Over here (UK) there's a fair old market for -wild boar- feral pig meat but just one problem, that being, the silly huge prices that you see in supermarkets! Offhand, I'd say the over-the-counter price for a roasting joint/bacon etc, in fact, any cuts _are up to four (and more) times, the price_ of farmed pork!
The price really infuriates me, when you see the many hunters who get (variable) around $35 for a 200lb hog! I recently paid the equivalent of that (35 bucks) for a small leg of -wild boar- feral pig!! Seems to me, someone (and t'aint the hunter!) is making a lot of cash out of this business! (Not forgetting, we have a feral pig and wild boar problem in some parts of the UK) but it also appears, that most -wild boar- comes from Australia!

Holy Over-Engineering, Batman! For millennia we have been building traps that are set-and-forget. Now we've "advanced" to one that needs 24/7 monitoring by a live human being over a 4G network with at least 2 bars? That POS probably only works on perfectly flat land in dry conditions with a gentle north-east breeze. If assembled by someone with less than 100 hours of training, it probably only works 1/3 of the time. And I'll bet it costs more to rent for a week than to build one that would last for years.

Move parts of trap out of trailer and assemble and disassemble trap and move parts trap into trailer . Too much work on this trap.. this trap required 2 or 3 person
    I don’t like this .

Over engineered. A plain Pig Brig with nylon netting is better.
