Absolutely gorgeous phone. As a soon to be nexus 5 owner I must say this phone is stunningly gorgeous, with the QHD version being the only phone for the year that I would buy over the nexus 5.
Great review as always Josh. The 7a is nice..but I'm holding out for the premium version! Do you think the QHD screen will noticeably drain the battery?
i like his videos, but i'm so annoyed by his introduction "hey... what's going on everybody" it's repeated every time in every video, i know maybe he takes that as his unique introduction, but it doesn't work for me at all. just my opinion :)
Throw them at each other literally and the Find 7a will come out as a winner. Dat steel. No but seriously, S5 and Find 7a batteries are removable, M8 is not. Ability to create 50MP photos from only a 13 MP camera, if thats important to you, without comprimise on shutter speed. The extremely cool notification light to extert that much more alpha on other phones.
There'd be no reason to get this over the Nexus 5 if it came with stock Android. That's what most people would say. If you want to a stock feel, install Cyanogen on it.

Thx. i buy Xperia ZL base on your review and it suits me. but now my ZL got error coz its only ON when it is charge. and it turn off when it doesn't. and now im planing to buy new phone. and still confuse for Find 7 or OnePlus. thx for your great review!! it helps me alot last year. :)

probably the best phone out there right now next the the nexus 5 For its price its unbeatable, and has everything HTC and samsung has besides a useless fingerprint scanner (All phones with flash have a heartrater sensor btw) so for its price of $500 or $600 QHD unlocked...nothing even comes close, I mean cmon $800 for an S5 with equal specs. wtf
Why not just title this as Oppo Find 7A. There's a considerable difference between the two, and there are a number of people waiting for Find 7 reviews (including myself).

Hi, Kindly help us find out if the international version has all the horrible issues china find 7a users are facing now. Biggest concern: Out of the 16gb of internal storage, only 2.95gb is partitioned to install apps. A few heavy games will empty out this tiny space very quickly. Kindly help us find out if we can move the data to sd card or other partition of the phone please, if it cant be done, then this is a huge deal breaker :( Other issues shared by china users on china oppo forums: 1. frequent & random SD card read error. 2. Dust able to get into the display and camera lens. seems like theres a gap. 3. yellow hue on the bottom part of the display. issue seems to get more serious the longer you use the phone. 4. dropped calls,wifi. 5. crackling sound during audio playback, even with headphones on. 6. atleast 5 more bugs that i cant remember now. you can visit the china oppoforums and use google translate to get an idea of how angry and unsatisfied the find 7a users are over there. I was really really hyped up to get this phone, until I read the chinese forums user experience. Hopefully the international versions will get most of those issue fixed before they ship it out. Please help us find out !

Yes, it really looks nice and i have no doubt that it is of good build quality. But with a screen size of just 5,5 inch it is just too small for me.

Guys, if you want "stock" android Android on it then install CyanogenMod with the launcher. It's the easiest way and you don't even need root.
