However, it seems my understanding was incorrect. The oldest town in Laguna is named "Bae" or "Bay," and "Laguna" is a Spanish word for "Lagoon," signifying a body of water. With this information, it appears that instead of "Bay" being the body of water, it is, in fact, "Laguna"! Quite surprising!😆
