This song is unbelievably cosmic. I feel like I’m floating through the emptiness of space as I reflect on every minute detail of my life as I fade away into the void. The experience of this song and its sister song To Be Human can only be described as... celestial. I feel like this is a melody that can be heard at birth, felt through life, and understood at death. I can’t explain how larger than life this silent commentary is. I have no idea if Marina intended for some of us to feel so intrinsically connected to her music but either way it’s happening and I’m here for it. This song is beautiful but also somehow tragic. It’s divine, godly, transcendent. But also so blissfully simple. Marina is a seraph delivering the words of god themself and it is heartbreakingly gorgeous

Deffenitly Throughout the song it sounds like she's coming from the perspective of someone who just loves something/someone so much that she's saying she'll love them for eternity but around 2:19 till the song ends the vibe switches almost like she's coming from a insane/obsessive .. perspective compared to how it started it was somewhat creepy

To everyone saying her new album sounds like generic pop trash you honestly don't know what you're talking about and you clearly don't understand marina as an artist. Every album she makes is called an era and each era is different so that firstly explains the change in sound and secondly electra heart was more digitalised and drilled into the radio than any other album of hers so saying she is now too generic is wrong. She HAS stuck with her melancholic vibe for most of her new songs as in the LOVE album we have songs like superstar and end of the earth (depending on how you want to perceive that) and for the other songs they are mean't to have a warmer "vibe" to them due to this part of the album being called LOVE.

I used to have very low expectations from the album when it first got announced. The name change also kinda influenced me and it disappointed me. But now that I have heard the songs, even thought they are different from her old style, I like them a lot. I am so proud of her. This is amazing. We love you. Keep up the good job. ♥️

weird interpretation incoming, but when i hear this song i imagine a story about an alien invader intending to destroy earth, but they ended up falling in love with a human. the repeated 'end of the- end of the-' is like a broken record constantly rewinding and replaying the pre-apocalyptic memories of the life they shared together before it all ended.
the human showed the alien kindness and taught the alien about the beauty of life on earth, even despite the potential danger to their own fragile life in the presence of the alien. (Do you ever think how the life could’ve been / If you never took the chance, a leap of faith and danced with losing it all). the line after that implies that the human died before the alien did, and that the alien intends to die soon after. ('So just wait, wait for me')
in the replayed memory scenes, the other aliens intending to destroy earth arrive anyway despite the first alien trying to stop it and make peace between the two species ('Tell me why do we fight'), so they then turn against their entire species and decide to die on earth with the human they love and the planet they learned to live on, as a final act of rebellion. If you notice well tempo is not 8 beats in “we are living in the same universe...” til “...and i love you til the end”, but 7. It obsessed me like for 6 months... So i took a metronome and counted the beats... And effectively, we have something like 7 beats in the middle but it is a false beat, at the ear your hear 7 but when you count all the tempo with a metronome, the entire song is regular, with 8 beats (i don’t know if i explain good, sorry for my english I’m French !) Don’t know why it is like that, does it mean something like : ok it is apparent chaos but when you listen carefully everything is all right now, because I’ll love you til the end ? I don’t know.

This is some of the best songwriting, arranging, and singing (and producing) I've heard in a long time. Marina is musically tremendous. I hope she keeps giving us music for decades to come.
Marina is such a great person for humanity. Her lyrics are a symphony I could never imagine, her creativity and positivity influence and creates a positive space for all of us to just sing along. I love this era because it's such a nuanced look at both love and fear - it feels so introspective and personal that I'm really honoured by Marina sharing it with us. To me, it speaks to the varied and difficult process of recovery. Things are not black and white - just as recovering from anything is not a matter of being 'not better' and then suddenly 'better' that's just not how life works, and that's okay. Thank you, Marina, for always creating such genuine masterpieces, you've definitely helped me, and many others.
