I fell in love with this one a long time ago and so did my daughter. Nice cozy relaxed scent. My daughter enjoyed the conversation piece aspect of telling her college friends that she was wearing Fat Electrician.
i just have bought Fat Electrician, also my fave! very pleasant, balanced, can be formal yet pleasant, not dated at all, very modernized version, i even prefer this over Terre d´Hermes EDT
It is a well done scent 👌 it has elements of classic vetivers like guerlain vetiver with that sweet nutty accord making it more modern.....semi-modern 😐
This might be the power of suggestion with the name, but I almost feel like I smell hot metallic wires and maybe something rubbery, like insulation on those wires. Between this and boiled peanuts it sounds off-putting, but I had two of my female coworkers smell it. Both liked it. One asked me where she could find it because she thought it was so sexy. Good longevity too.
While I haven't had the opportunity to try anything from this house so far; it often intrigues me with its offerings like Fat Electrician as well as You or Someone Like You, but then I see something like Secretions Magnifiques and I'm like "I'm out!" Enjoyed your insight and it may finally push me to try something from them.
Such a highly underrated vetiver frag. Everyone always talks about Guerlain or Chanel or Tom Ford but THIS is hands down my favorite vetiver fragrance. I like Sycomore from Chanel for its up scaled feel but fat electrician is my baby and Sycomore is just my fancy side ho.
Yesterday I received and wore Atelier Cologne Vetiver Fatal. Really enjoyed it and wouldn't mind trying more vetiver fragrances, so maybe I'll give Fat Electrician a try. SOTD: Atelier Cologne Figuier Ardent
This is gonna sound really weird, but its absolutely true. This fragrance smells exactly like the black leather interior, of a 2006 ( 7th Gen ) Honda Accord. I know how crazy and specific that sounds, but I know that scent VERY well. Its like they captured it, and slapped it in this bottle. Try it for yourself. You'll see.
3 of my favorite vetivers are not in any specific order. Encre Noire not for the faint of heart. Deep. , rich , earthy dark Vetiver. #2 Guerlain Vetiver, a very noble type of vetiver, very European if that makes any sense . Just a ton of notes in this one Tobaco , musk , black pepper, neroli, bergermant . #3 Creeds Original Vetiver , Amber , Neroli, Ginger, Sandlewood
Very interesting house.. I have Rien Intense Incense from a hyped blind buy and man that is not wearable.. artistic for sure, but no way can I wear that.. this sounds definitely more approachable, even to frag snobs..but I also dislike vetiver so touch and go here.. great review as always.
I haven't given this one a try yet, because the brand kind of leads me the other way with the concepts they use and doesn't fit the profile of the scents at all.

I'm happy you reviewed this house and fragrance. Fat Electrician is a nice one from ELDO. It's shocking that the house is overlooked.
I think people stay away from them because of Secretions Magnifique. But they definitely have some great fragrances in their line.

One of my favorite Vetivers. I like this one over Grey Vetiver... I think. 😅
