This one is VERY nice. I used to go to Shinjuku mainly to go to a club called The Code or Liquid Room but sometimes I would just walk around at night. This video really brings back memories. Thank you.
@@DConan-jj6dm rats, if youve ever gone to east asia its easy to notice how much more developed it is, and how western cities seem to lag behind in tech and such
Wow, this really brings back memories! I remember going into that Apple Store literally two nights after its great opening and I were kinda tipsy and just really happy, and it was so much fun. I miss Shinjuku! Thanks for this awesome video!
Ah what interest the world holds, thanks for sharing it with me in these times we can't travel. Beautifully clean and steady footage for the night time. All the best to you fellow walker.
Thank you for yet another great video. Two questions, you make certain cuts at various points during the video, is that just to reduce the time spent during slow moments like when you are waiting at a crosswalk, or do you do it to remove images of people or businesses who don't wish to be filmed? At 6:30 you stop at the front of some business or restaurant of some kind and then do a closeup, what is this place?
Thank you for questiton. First question, there is some reason about that. Saving battery, that's one of the main reasons. Second question, that place is Rakugo theater. Rakugo is the traditional Japanese art of storytelling.
I love Tokyo city. Just come back from there and I really miss the place. Maybe next year I'll go back. What did you use to stabilize the camera work? It is really good and not shaky. :)
do people use 'suehiro-dori' or do they just refer to this place as sanchome? it doesnt seem to be a very popular description. Before, I was trying to find a picture of the suehiro-dori signs to try and translate, but there issn't many google search results. had to use google street view, and it was still fairly difficult.
It’s a nice question! We Japanese call around there Sanchome. Because there is the same name “Suehiro-dori” in Tokyo. For example, Kichijoji Suehiro-dori, Higashisuna Suehiro-dori. So if you go to Suehiro-dori in Shinjuku, you should try to search for Rakugo theatre Suehiro-tei (末廣亭)on google :)
Tokyo used to be a city but now it's officially a prefecture, which is akin to a state or province. That means Shinjuku, Shibuya, and other areas we think of as "districts" are legally cities within Tokyo Prefecture (which kind of makes sense when you consider how enormous Tokyo actually is).

Is Tokyo a state?
@@SMC_Dev THATS WHAT I WAS WONDERING HAHA
how cool were those pre-pandemic times .... life was just so natural and normal
You can’t compare Tokyo to NYC , TOKYO wins by a million miles.
Why nyc is a bad place?

What is the shop where you stoped at 6:40 ? The one with kanjis
Love from 🇫🇷
Bonjour! This is Rakugo theater. You can enjoy traditional Rakugo show here :)
個人的に新宿は歌舞伎町のようなゴチャゴチャして騒然としたイメージしかなかったのですが、
おしゃれな通りもあるんですね。綺麗です^_^
Very clean footage and amazing , did you use noise reduction in your Davinci Resolve.

It is in the description. DJI Osmo X3
What is the place called at 27:03? Where can I find it on a map?

And the best way to find a pics of Suehiro-dori, searching it on google in Japanese. →新宿末広通り😁
What is your camera 📸
I miss KFC in Japan it tastes so much better than the US.
Ahhh we didn't get to try KFC only McDonalds! Will have to go back to Japan just to try the KFC lol.
The McDonalds was better too!
👍🥰
Благодарю!
I do walks in Beijing, China!
I dunno why i feels like that im playing sleeping dogs with 4K graphics
😍🙂
人中之龍 The place of the Japanese game Yakuza
ive spent hours and hours down suehiro dori and dont think i have once ever noticed the theatre 😂
Suehirotei is a very famous Rakugo theatre in Shinjuku. You should have seen a road sign shaped Rakugo performer :)
Tokyo has cities within the city? Or broken title?
