It's shame ful that how every actor from heeramandi are forced to support sharmin ..it's just insane ..first you take away opportunities from more deserving people and when you are called out , the people who have struggling against unfair has to show support because they know if they deny , they will not be given opportunity...these nepo kids don't only snatch the opportunities but also controlling the voices ..how insane ..it's called power and influence ..

Completed the heeramandi series today itself and I think shermin wasn't that bad in fact I think she acted accordingly. She was an innocent, Quiet, introvert yet rebellious girl.

I think she played it fine, reason being the role demands a certain stoic response. Which implies, you, don't tend to display a range of emotions. Maybe this was contrasted with her co stars. But each one's script is differnt... so makes sense.
But that's not what the director or creator said. Only audience is trying to explain her performance by saying that the role demanded stoic expression. But the source has not said it. I think we are trying to cope
We have all seen SLB's choice of actors in the past and even in heeramandi. In the past when many have absolutely loved his judgement on casting why people start questioning now is my doubt.
If it's just nepotism, the hard work a director like bhansali puts into a movie it wouldn't have mattered to remove one person if he knew they are not doing justice to the char. So it is so highly possible that shermin was actually trained to play like that. It suited her. Absolutely hate her personality though but acting? She did as she was told because she lasted till the end.
But she was the same way in her first movie. Very bad face, very bad voice and very bad body language. Just altogether, dead. So this is not some responsible casting. It is a class A failure of SLB and yes, he did drown his project at the cost of propping up his blood
