That I80 truck showed up long after I finished mine. Red and Green were the most common colors for the early trucks, Green being on the most units. THX for looking. TGP

That grill looks like cast iron.
It's original Equip. and it's stout. Inch and 3/8"X1/4 flat iron with 3/8 dia. rod welded in place then bolted in.
