Amtrak 353 (ALC-42)
Amtrak 352 (ALC-42)
Amtrak 351 (ALC-42)

Amtrak P030 was having PTC issues when they were departing Harper's ferry and was at Harper's ferry for 20-30 minutes
Amtrak P029:
amtrak 174 (phase 7 P42DC)
174 looks so good! More P42s in Phase 7!
Crazy catch! Wow what a consist on 30 and even had the first of the VII P42s on 29!
That is incredible ! Thank you for share !
Hi! New subscriber. YT put you in the mix today. Looked like it might be Harper's Ferry and it was.
Thank you for subscribing. I appreciate it
@@RailfanKaleb It's my pleasure I'm sure. I remember riding that train from Pittsburgh with my mom before Christmas of '87 and after New Year's of '88. It was Called the Capital Limited and had a dining car, snack bar car and Vista Dome car. We got into DC 2 or 3 hours late. We didn't have as much layover time to meet up my aunt and uncle to hit the sites and catch the Colonial down to Newport News. The food in dining car was excellent and mobile at the same time.
Why so many Chargers? They appeared to be Dead In Consist. Were they being moved elsewhere?
They're pretty much for testing before they go into service
Horrible ugly chargers!!!!
Cool meetup catch of P030 and P029 with the Phase 7 P42DC, Dash 8 and four NEW ALC-42s!
Awesome Catch, Kaleb!!!!! That's one of new P42DC Heritage Units that's been repainted this year I guest.
Actually it’s not a special interest or heritage unit, this is gonna be the new standard paint scheme for the P42s from now on
You are correct @@adventuresofamtrakcascades301
Oh ok, I get it. Thanks for explaining about that.
Imagine the confluence of events that had to occur for #29 and #30 to meet precisely at Harper’s Ferry … and on top of that, with so many Phase VII locomotives of both old and new vintage in one place at one time!
Wonderful news!!!!
I can’t believe how I caught 39 2 times without the consist.
You just got yourself a New Subscriber! Good job on the video catch ❤🚂
Awesome, thank you so much!
That Superliner consist that 174 was pulling almost looks like the Texas Eagle consist but without the baggage car
Also, take a long look at P030's diner. I was the first one to spot it
There were more locomotives than the amount of passenger cars.
I guess you could call that "overpowered"
@RailfanKaleb not really, the 4 ALC42s were actually just being delivered to Amtrak, one the P42 and Dash 8 were powering
@@adventuresofamtrakcascades301 yea, that too. Even though the 4 chargers were Dead In Tow, thats still overpowered with that many cars
@@RailfanKaleb yeah if the Chargers were powered, you definitely got a power craze waiting to happen
What an awesome set of locomotives at the lead! I also can't believe how awesome the P42 looks in the Phase VII livery. I hope Amtrak keeps rolling those out for all of those still in service.
Wow, was this today?
Yep
Nice catch, I have a friend up there and was in the area last summer@@RailfanKaleb
@@Robbie_Prz wow. That's cool
