He attempted to see where the voice was coming from but his eyes had their own agenda. He could tell from the pain that his right was most likely swollen shut. Through his left he could only make out the occasional form through a clotted pink blur. That god-damned familiar smell of bleach and mildew was the only hint that he was still in his home. Or below it anyway. The gun crept further into his mouth.

Lawrence rambling while nobody is listening and looking up wired things, somehow knowing everything about every game made between 1985 and 1999 and Bruce constantly checking over his should to see if he's there. He is easily the best thing about demo disk at the moment.

In the 90s and early 2000's everyone had gaming magazines. I remember I would ask for subscriptions for my birthday, and a lots of kids at school would swap magazines to read about the games coming out. There was no UA-cam and the internet was still really young (and not profitable) so everything was still printed. Magazines came out monthly, but there were plenty of months that there wasn't a big Final Fantasy or Tomb Raider coming out. Had to fill the pages so they would cover shit games like these.
