Thank you for this video. One of the things I seriously dislike about Diggy's Adventure (even though it's my favorite game right now) is that it punishes color-weak people like me. I never would've guessed that dark gate that looked purple-ish to me was actually the *white* gate, nor that "redundant" actually meant "not represented by a gate."
Yes, you're not alone. I've seen quite a few people talking about the colors. You could try writing to them and just hope they do something about it. Unless many speak out, it's unlikely they'll do anything about it.

je comprend jamais rien au énigme moi c'est trop dur... je suis obliger de regarder la solution sur you tube... Ici c'est pour l'écaille de dragon que je comprend pas... Vraiment débile comme logique, je met les pierre sur les couleur correspondant au porte de couleur mais rien ne se passe... Bref ils exagère.. C'est bien trop dur...
Hi, some of the earlier videos might be like that when I didn't realize it. The current videos should be fine. For the old ones, you can use youtube's speed controls to slow it down.

I don't know what I am missing, but even I put the first part stones same as shown in video, the gate didn't open :(

Look at the movement, not just the final placement. It matches the arrows
