Came here to hopefully get an answer as to why my stereo delays were only coming out of the right channel and I got my answer within the first minute and a half of the video. Thank you!
These types of breakdowns are extremely helpful for those of us that would like to better understand how the different delays, reverbs, etc on the Helix work. It great to help everyone create their own tones. This would be great for OD's, EQ's, Compressions, Modulations & Filters as well. Thanks and keep up the good work!!!
Thank you very much Brian for spending so much time helping guys like me who are not so techie, achieve our goals of Worshiping our Lord the very best we can . Your gift Blesses many ! Thank you very much.
What a great trick! I did not know that! If you had a song in 6/8 with the click set to 8th notes, what value would you set the note sync and the scale to? Or on the dual delay which note values would you choose?
Brian I need help with an effect loop in the stomp. Even when I have stereo delays and reverbs my stereo effect loop after the other effects make it mono. Please help
Do you mean when you switch to another preset? You’ll have to give up half the units DSP to do that, unfortunately If you just want trails when you turn the delays and reverbs off, it does that already
@@boabglen Yeah Helix was never able to do that in the beginning. They added the ability to have spillover between presets, and you can enable it in the global settings, but you'll give up half of the DSP of the entire unit to do it, so all your presets will have the same amount of DSP as the HX Stomp. You'd have to remove about half of the blocks from our presets.
Hey guys. I have been watching your videos and have learnt alot. I was just wondering if it would be possible for you to do a generic patch pack for the boss gt-1. I'm not sure if there is a big enough demographic for you to dedicate time on this. However I know it would be appreciated and I would definitely buy that. God bless!
Do you mean in stereo? You can hear dual delay if you use dual delay. But if you want them panned you need to run 2 channels from the unit and pan them at the board.
Have you doen the same task with the Axe FX? I went from the Helix to KPA and Axe FX , so I´m looking for some tips and tricks to dial in P&W delays on the Axe FX, KPA is my amp (soon going to use the drives when the new FW is released).
When you say, “roll the highs off to get an analog tape delay,” you are incorrect. On an actual Echoplex, with each repeat, the BASS lessens, and the notes become more and more TREBLE. Besides that, great vid!

The cable from Helix to the interface must be TSR?

What a great trick! I did not know that!

Any tricks on how to get spillover over from preset to preset?

@worshiptutorials yeh stomp doesn't have spillover when switching presets right?
@@worshiptutorials if I'm going from one brand new preset to the next it doesn't have spillover

Question!!?? How do I hear dual delay in my Inears?

Yeah Axe-FX has this. In the stereo delays it's called 'L/R Time Ratio'. In all of our presets, the dual delay block uses this feature.
@@worshiptutorials Tanks! I´ll look into it
Trails ON or OFF??
