It's actually illegal to evict someone under a private tenancy agreement contract, for one minor noise complaint (this one was even wrong ). Long and short, I'd take him to court Felix, for Unfare eviction and discrimination/homophobia, even though you aren't.

So the landlord kicks someone out:
1. Without giving prior notice
2. Files the complaint THE DAY AFTER
3. Files for homophobic reasons - that were not even true.
I think someone should report the landlord. I believe quite a few laws were broken there. Set some lawyer-attack-dogs on that douchebag just to teach him a lesson. I'd donate to that legal fund, for karma alone.

exactly, you can't just do that. I may not know much about homeownership, insurance, etc. but I do know that the landlord broke three laws, and should be sued or arrested. if I could I would report the landlord immediately.
