You have no idea how much you've been helpful.
Wonderful to hear! All the best to you and many thanks!
I feel I’ve filled most of my “fills” with “feels” and never felt I was filling the wrong fill to my “fills”. But then, I mostly listen to others so their “feels” and “fills” make sense anyways regardless of how I feel and fill.
If you FEEL your FILL is OK then go for it! The only thing that is important is that people understand you.
All the best!
Lucky you! 🍀 this video posted in addition to how to say install. Enjoy the bonus.

Can you explain the definition of to have high standards.

Feel [fil]

Can you do a video of feel vs fail?
I don't have that but I have these:
How to pronounce FAIL and FILE - American English Pronunciation Lesson
ua-cam.com/video/F50729a4O_s/v-deo.html
How to Pronounce FILL, FELL, FILE, FEEL - American English Pronunciation Lesson
ua-cam.com/video/ThHjanPG6nI/v-deo.html
Both words have a schwa sound but in "feel" we start the schwa closer to the "l" sound while in "fill" we make the schwa more pronounced, is this correct? Thank you in advance and congratulations on the video.
Thanks!
This is tough. There is definitely a long E and short i sound in these words. However, in a sentence or connected speech it may sound more like a schwa since we reduce vowels.
Hope this didn't lead to any more confusion!
Thank you teacher in Spanish the sound is like Feel (fiil) and Fill (fel)
You are welcome! Thanks for helping others!
I love you ❤🧡

Great video! I had a question I wanted to ask. There’s an expression that involves the word “feeling” but I cannot find it anymore. I’ll give you an example. For example, Jack hates living in California because it’s too hot for him so he wants to leave but Martin tells him that if he does, he will have to say goodbye to his friends, give away his beautiful house, he won’t be able to go to the beach every Sunday anymore so Jack ends up having second thoughts about leaving and he gets emotional so he would use this expression. What would it be? It completely slipped my memory, it’s so frustrating lol. I hope the context is clear. Thanks for your help! 🙂
Feeling blue?
@@tarlespeech Yeah exactly! He feels blue about the situation. Therefore, he would say to Martin something like: “don’t use my soft feelings” or something of the sort. You know, he’s determined to go on with his plans but then he’s not so sure about it, so he tells his friend: “Come on man, you tricked me into letting my feelings get the better of me” or something like that, isn’t there such an expression that would describe using someone’s emotions to prevent him from doing something? Basically, he feels defeated and is not going after all, so he’s like: “Way to go dude, you caught me off guard by my feelings” I’m sure this sentence I just used is not the right expression but maybe you could shed some light into it. 🙂 Thanks!
Maybe don’t “toy with me” implying emotions.
@@tarlespeech Yeah that one sounds cool. Thanks.
I have a friend from the USA and she speaks 'p' like phi or fee. Could you clarify how to pronounce 'p' and its examples?
sittoo nagesh where is she from? I don't think I have heard this. Check out my video for coffee and copy. This compares the sounds.
sittoo nagesh video for copy and coffee. ua-cam.com/video/Ua_aKbC9sRc/v-deo.html
I have heard the differences. And glad that you clarified it well. Still, as a non-native English speaker, I hear the sound of 'p' a little different than what others speak in all different continents. Interestingly, I found that you also pronounce it little softly and it is harder in my case. Thanks for your time. I wish.. you would have your dreams and nice moments.
sittoo nagesh yes. In English the P is less aspirated, ,earning there is less air released when we say it.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Wish you all the best!
But to say " I feel sad", a can't smile.
I’m sorry you are sad. Better days are ahead!
What about fell? Is the same pronuntiation to fill? Fell and Fill is in the same sound?
No. Fell had the shirt e sound. It sounds similar to the short i in full. But is is different.
Buenos días Señora De Nieve. "i" de "fill" pronuncia entre el "i" español y el "e" español.

Correct. Phil and fill are pronounced the same.

hi
Hello! 👋
Para hablantes latinos :
Feel se dice : "fí-ol"
Fill se dice :" Fé-ol" con "e"
Otra vez, la gringada les cuesta la tabla del cero. 🤣
Sorry this wasn't helpful to you. Thanks for helping others.
filé
Similar but we don't stress the end of the word.
Please, just make a video talking about feel, fill and fell, i can't hear the difference.
Here you go:

No. It is similar but different. i have some videos coming out in short e and i. Stay tuned!
Fill is the vowel in Miss, and pin. Fell is the vowel in mess and pen.
As well as sweet voice love ravishing smile with stunning shirts go on
Thank you for your kind words.
Thank you!
I want to kiss her mouth.
I’m blushing!
I am terribly sorry, but your overall diction does not conform to American Standard Diction.
Thanks for the feedback.
I have a spanish friend that struggle dinstinguishing the words *feel*, *fill* , *fail* , *few* , and *fuel* and he used to have a hard time trying to dinstinguish the words
*feature* and *future* as well. I tried to help him showing that the key to pronouncing these words is to focus in pronouncing the proper vowel sounds.
/i/ /ɪ/ /eɪ/ /ju/.
I showed him the IPA transcription to show him that different symbols mean different phonemes (contrastive sounds) and I tried to demonstrate the mouth, lip and tongue position, but it didn't help so much.
He just can't hear the difference between /i/ - /ɪ/ ; /ɪ/-/eɪ/. I just don't know what to do to help him anymore.
Fornunately he is now able to hear the difference between *feature* and *future*
because I showed him that he could use two vowel sounds that exist in Spanish: the /i/ as in fee like in the first syllable stressed of the spanish word HIjo (son) and the /u/ as in boo like in the first syllable stressed of the word BRUja (witch)
so all he had to do is to exaggerate the length of the vowel in these words
/'fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii tʃər/
/fjuuuuuuuuuuu tʃər/
Great teaching tip!
Thank you
You're welcome!
Wow I understand very good
