I love Sara so much. So beautiful. But in this video, and like almost all of the live ones, Tegan is doing her famous sway as she sings. Love it!
Love this one..... so much passion Tegan. Ahh.... Sainthood is looking like it will be one of the best albums by far .

I think its important to note, Tegan is even under-exaggerating about the DTES of Vancouver. Lots of filth, lots of crime, lots of homelessness....I really can not imagine her residing there. I would definitely not be able to. I do admire her initial eagerness to "want to fix".

@ToriZemog331 I read somewhere once that Vancouver has a higher crime rate than NYC. I've been to DTES once, and it certainly looked pretty scary. Homeless people *everywhere*. Allot of the buildings are broken down or vacant.

It's really not that bad. And it's mixed in with over-priced condos and lofts that the yuppy's buy.. The rent in Gastown (which is right by DTES goes from about $1200/month to $5000/month. One second you're walking by homeless people and a dingy area and the next you're looking in the window of a shop that averages $2000 per item. It's a crazy awesome place. I know because I lived there for years and just moved last month lol
