That first interview is very differfrom what we would have nowadays. Clear and calm, varied questions, etc. Whether it was propaganda, public info, etc. is irrelevant. There was a quiet in those conversations that doesn't happen now. Voice level, intonation, and word choice that existed in this era is long gone and almost... sometimes more mature than what we get on TV nowadays.
Haha. I once read a bumper sticker in thailand that read "Dear tourist. Enjoy your happy life. We, the thai police will protect you". It is my personal experience that the only people we have to worry about hurting us, is our own people. Our own govts.
I and my family are forever grateful towards all the totally fine, good, great, decent, intelligent, godly, admirable, strong, upstanding, outstanding men, women, and troops whom ever have, are currently, or will upliftingly, heartfully, wisely, peacefully, and strongly in any ways at all whatsoever stand up for, work hard for, fight, and die for our great, beautiful country and world. We are forever proud Americans. Seriously, oh yeah.
This has very little about MASH units. It's more of a blood drive, blood donation documentary and shows the importance of whole blood. Very cool though.
My dad was a field medic he was there in 1950 ,very cold there,he grew up in Michigan and was used to the cold but apparently it was colder in Korea,he didn’t speak Korean so hard to help SK soldiers so he found a young guy who would translate for him his name was Kim which is also my name I’m proud of my name and had to fight for it growing up no such thing as bullying in the 60s, my dad never had guns and didn’t like them,he/we live in Florida and he said that he wanted to be buried in the sunniest spot they had,and he is.the problem with that is that his head stone is number 1313, crazy .
