There NEEDS to be a W.A.S.P. Documentary, all past members - Holmes, Piper, Rod, Richards etc. and new members all interviewed separately, why not!!!

Great interview. I saw him on his recent tour and he was cool enough to let me get up and play his guitar!! What an amazing night that was for me! What a great guy!

Chris is still what made wasp heavy and cool! Blackie added to it but Chris was the actual sound that made them sound dark and heavy!

Awesome interview! thanks for asking my questions, both of his answers revealed a LOT so he pretty much didnt play on any of those 'reunion' albums. I love the W.A.S.P. version of 'The Real Me' 🤟🏻

Loved W.A.SP back in the day and so good to see Chris still rocking - I was never sure he'd survive the '80's...🍸🍹🥴

I went to High School with that idiot. I am not sure he survived the 80's.

Thanks so much for this! I’ve loved Chris’s solo albums very much. I think he sounds great. I didn’t buy them thinking I was going to hear Pavarotti. Which was the same way I was when I purchased Motörhead. Keep doing it Chris and get your ass back to the states for some shows soon!!

Maybe having that band lineup with either Frankie Benali(RIP) or Stet Howland?

First VH album changed my life! Along with Diary of a madman. I know Chris knew Randy and Ed personally as teenagers.

Hey there@ i don't know Blackie personally. I've met Chris z couple times first on the Canadian tour playing with Iron maiden . Blzckid wearing a Toronto maple leafs shirt on that one lol ..Anyway Chris has always been a true gentleman Sober and hsmmed! The guy is one of the coolest guys I've met. Blackie didn't say much..seemed a bit into doing his own thing. Was never a drinker really. Did not seem to be anything close to his "stage persona" I think it was more of an Act. While Chfis is genuine. What ya see is what ya get! gotta respect that in spades, brother!

The voice that Chris gives to his band is excellent and let him continue with his name Holmes band if one day the four of them get together it will be a tribute to Wasp if it doesn't happen let it continue as it is very good

Thanks for asking Chris my question. I had a feeling he wasn't a big fan of KFD. The album is a huge change from Crimson Idol and Headless Children. They went in a very weird direction. Chris Holmes is a beast of a player. I always loved his energy with WASP and wish he was still part of the band but unfortunately Blackie pushed him out the door too many times. Really enjoyed the interview Barry.

Although I'd say Jimi and Jeff were just on different pages. Just as good as either or.

It's interesting, we are working on a reinterpretation of "On Your Knees" called "On The Stage" which is from the perspective of a Christian singer struggling with themselves. The first few lines are:
    _Lipsync is danger_
    _Mouth to the mic_
_Is it sin if you mime to yourself?_
And this is a Christian singer who is lip syncing asking themself, is this a sin? Thou shalt not lie, so is me just flapping my lips pretending to sing in front of hundreds of fans every night lying?
But ultimately, this singer tells themself hey, this isn't a lie is it? The voice coming out of the PA is still me. I sung those words. They were just sung 40 years ago. It's not a lie, my voice, my lips.
_On the stage, you shall sync, on the stage_
_On the stage, that's where you all shall sync_

Gene was right when he said "Rock is Dead." it truly is.. but there are still the original bands! Sorry to say, but the "new" bands are pretty much Disco cheese.

I'd question who the narc is. Im fairly sure most in the business/hollywood have a high level of narc traits but giving someone a clinical diagnosis in the media is just bullsht. They also do this for publicity just like Kiss. Blackie is the main personaility and voice of WASP. His voice is the most unique in the biz, even today. Chris turned into a b*tching old man regardless of what talent he may have had. I dont care. Act like a grown up for once. Blackie doesnt go around b*tching about you after how many years? Id armchair diagnose Chris as Psych 2 and i studied at university. He was carried along by the organisation and business skills of others....til he wasnt.
