Hello all, after 9 months and 3 days, I present part two of my extended grand tour. Part III will come after a secret new project I'm working on, and it will be a lot more interesting than the repetitive dwarf planet hopping in this installment. Part III is going to visit a lot of ocean worlds...

My solar system is very different than the original. The order is:

Hi Jacob I absolutely loved the first grand tour and i love this one also but i have a few questions about this mission what ksp version were you in when you made this? What mods were the dwarf planets from? Were you using a windows or mac computer? That's all of the questions I can think of right now but if I have more I will ask you also do you want me to recommend more planet mods to you. You deserve more subs because I have never seen a mission as complex as this one i'm looking forward to seeing part 3 in the future.

Hello! I'll try my best to answer your questions.
What version of KSP? - I was on version 1.6.1 when I made this particular video, part one was on version 1.4.3.
What mods were the dwarf planets from? - The dwarf planets came from many mods, which were the Trans-Keptunian mod, the Dwarf Planets Plus Mod (with the moon Ripple being added in separately by me), the Plod System mod, the Planet Nine mod, the Morimee System mod, and the Kluto System mod. Was I using Windows or Mac? - Windows.
Do I want you to recommend more planet mods to me? - Absolutely. I'll gladly take a look at any suggestion. If I can land on the planet/moon and return to orbit, there's a good chance it shows up in a future part.
I'm glad you liked the video, as for part 3, I've begun planning it out now. No idea when it will be finished however. Hopefully soon.
@@JacobPlaysSomeGames Hi Jacob thanks for replying I have one more question but I don't know if you will know the answer but every time I load ksp with kopernicus after the version 1.2.2 this pops up on the menu screen "Warning Copernicus was not able to load the custom planetary system due to an exception in the loading process, Loading your saved game is NOT recommended, because the missing planets could corrupt it and delete your progress." I only have kopernicus and Squad in my Game Data folder if you don't know the answer it's ok. Also about recommending planet mods to you witch would you prefer planet mods that add planets the the kerbol solar system or planet packs that add new star systems with there own planets or both.
@@matthewhackett8974 Kopernicus might have a dependency you need to install, or you might have the wrong version. Hope that helps.
As for planet packs, ones that add planets to the Kerbol system would be preferred.

Is this the base game or modded? Because I did not expect KSP to have that many celestial bodies. I only landed on Mun and Minimus so far. Even managed to bring a somewhat functional rover to Minimus.
Modded. After I did the first 14 landings (excluding spud) or so in part one, everything else afterwards was a mod.

Right now all my focus is going into the 3rd Grand Tour video, and while I do appreciate the 500 sub special suggestion, I haveto get there before that becomes a possibility. (Also a voice reveal might not be that far out)

Planet pack suggestion for part 4: Valentine/other stars and planets and moons!
Originally I considered that, but for simplicity/to set a clear mission parameter I've decided to keep the grand tour centered around Kerbol. If a mod adds a binary friend to the sun with planets I might visit that, but otherwise exoplanets are off the table. Thanks for the suggestion!

Because I gave it an atmo node in its config file. Also because low gravity and thin atmospheres are fun.

Mission elapsed time (Total)?
Over 33,000 years somewhere. I had to reset the save's time because it was overloading. The in game timer had so many logged seconds I couldn't timewarp.
Great, i have to reset time counter any sooner...
The Poll in Discord says that after Arane, Plod is what i have to deal with, lets see if i can do this...and maybe...use some references on how do i deal with these things...

Actually there is an atmosphere on the dwarf planet
Ripple has an atmosphere. You can see reentry flames around the same planet a minute earlier.
Ripple has a very thin atmosphere, which is just enough for the kerbal's parachute to deploy.
Hey, it's me again, where did the Fuel Tank came from ? That tank you used as an extra fuel supply for the Spaceplane.
And i'm planning for another Grand Tour, can i keep the Eve, Laythe and Moho Lander from the Sheep v3 on the Sheep v4 ? (Sheep v3 didn't end well, so i want to make sure that the Sheep series ends with something good, i'll hopefully show you in the Discord soon) And if i'm crazy enough, i might try landing on Badurra (1.945 Gees with 360 Km Radius)
The fuel tank was docked onto the side of the main station, it's from the Making History DLC.

How did you even approach planning landing on 32767 planetoids, all on weird orbits and so far from the Sun, that reaching them takes a millenia?
Honestly? I would just match inclinations and go to the one that visually looked the nearest.

@@JacobPlaysSomeGames LOL...i made one that's below the Gigameter Threshold, and its harder to land on than Tylo, i call it "Arkanus", was fun to get to (Gigameter Threshold = Threshold of Low Kerbol space) except if you forgot Radiator Panels as Heating may kill you, still wondering how hot it can be, also, about "Shrek", i still remember, and about to make it soon...
