DST fall back spring forward. When I installed a Stillen SC kit on my Infiniti, I had just filled the tank. The rear seat comes out and the tank hat is in the passenger compartment. What a PITA. Did not spill any inside the car but lost half a gallon on my driveway.
I love all things cars and am so excited to find your channel, thanks to Mac from Midwest Magic Cleaning. Subscribing so I don't miss you working on his Camaro... or the rest of your awesome content!!
Ive said it a hundred times I’m here for the dyno work with Fran and the ride alongs and of course the racing…. the guys there in the shop are all awesome too and do great work but just how raw and grouchy Fran got with that dang trans tune is why I love this channel so much it’s pure and raw and real gritty down to earth American car culture that we love to see!!! People are so worried about image and and being proper but with RPM it’s about good work and making power!! Love these dudes 💯💪🏼
I enjoy watching your videos. I have a 2023 F-150 5.0 with a Roush supercharger. It has a Roysh/Ford tune for 705 hp at the crank. Would you put a real tune in this? I'm thinking a smaller pulley, too.
Go to a Ford/Coyote tuner....Lund would be my first choice...if you don't have a local shop with good reputation for an in person dyno tune. Lund should get you set up nicely with that.
DSX is or has already came out with a super trick dual pump hat/bucket setup for the 6th gen/CTSV. It's been tested to 1000whp+ on full e85 and port injection I do believe already. Might be another option to look into for the bigger power LT builds you guys do. It even comes with a OEM style FPCM that is tunable through HPT to run both pumps however you want.
I have never been into cars since my dad got rid of his ‘53 corvette…because I was born! Anyway, I’m one of the ones Mack sent over to say hey! Be good to his car. He worked hard for it!
"Picked up" more than my 93 Cobra with a dry 50 shot made back in College. Kids today have no damn idea the struggle we use to have just trying to squeeze another 10 to the wheels back in the late 80s early 90s. I remember way back when my neighbor bought a brand new GMC Syclone off the lot and he was one of the first to use Snow Performance water/meth injection. That car in the "cold" in Houston devastated so so many cars. That was before the internet and nobody knew what the hell a Syclone was. My point is that truck made like 300ish to the wheels and was very much considered fast back then. These cars pick up 300 with a cam and some odds and ends. Damn.
@texastrill5473; Your posted comment seems to indicate the obvious, clear, significant degradation with the young people of Your generation, with such ignorance, though so much more information, knowledge was available, though not so many established, common easily performed or purchased performance upgrades were as available then as in more recent years, especially with the ease, accessibility, availability of with performance via exhaust, intakes, carburetor, ignition, then power addition via N2O/nitrous-oxide spray, forced induction via super chargers, blowers, turbochargers, improved fuel systems, fuel injection, methanol, water injection, ethanol, cylinder heads, valves, lifters, springs, porting, plus internal components including camshafts, crankshafts, pistons, rings, connecting rods, also improved lubrication via synthetic oils, fluids, improved cooling via oil, fluid coolers, air coolers, along with improved suspension, steering, differentials, traction systems/components, electronic engine management/control, improved transmissions, etc. Also within the last few decades the production quality has improved such the quality, level of the components, tolerances, designs, allow for performance upgrades along with the expanded private production of performance parts, components too. However, the actual level of knowledge of people, in general has not increased, except according to the common level of commonly.available, accessible, implemented performance upgrades, but the proper basics within mechanics, mechanical, engines, combustion, etc. has clearly decreased among the common people, enthusiasts, also mechanics, people involved within various racing venues, formats, especially with their process, mindset, views, perspectives, perceptions, misconceptions, misinformation, disinformation, lack with proper knowledge, methods. The described situation is similar within every area, topic, subject, realm, worldwide. All The Best, Sincerely

Don't care for automatics but I find it interesting that Camaros get an A10 while Corvettes get an A8, but I guess it makes sense for the bigger and heavier car to have more rapid Gearing to get up to speed. 🤔
@TJRELITE; @robertbull6248; both of You clearly lack some basics within mechanics, mechanical, automotive, motor vehicles, drive trains, mechanisms, etc. ! :-o The Camaro platform is very similar with the CTS-V platform, thus have basically the same, similar components. They are both front engine sedans, RWD. The Camaro is significantly lighter than the CTS-V, closer in weight to a Corvette actually. The Corvette, C8, is a very different, unique platform with rear-mid engine, thus unique DCT, trans-axle which is developed, manufactured by Trimac, TR-9080, thus performs very similar to a manual, but with automatic, electronic control via TCU, which includes control of the fluid, pressures≤ etc. Thus, the automatic transmission type in the Camaro, CTS-V, could never be used with the C8 platform. Simple, Period. The C8 was designed with racing in its design as for the C8-R, along with all versions, simultaneously, though are released for production gradually; C8 Stingray, Z06/7, E-Ray, ZR-1, Zora. Their C8-R version production models, as required by various racing organizations, are available for purchase by racing teams. If You search properly for more available, accessible details, information, knowledge, You can become better informed, knowledgeable. RPM had one C8 Stingray in the shop previously, but they could not do very much, since no tuning was available. Now that HP Tuners has been given access to the C8 engine ECU-ECM-PCM, perhaps some people or even the shop may have some performance modifications, upgrades, available with engine tuning, but currently not with the TCU still. Other more unique shops have been involved in performance upgrades, especially Twin Turbo, methanol, upgraded DCT clutches, etc., including Fuel Tech, AMS using MoTec, another Texas based [purposely not mentioning] also using Fuel Tech; Hennessy had some more simple "bolt on" type modifications early too. Fran seems to not get involved with external ECU--ECM=PCM used, modifications in the shop, though his racing Corvette uses a custom ECU-ECM-PCM, which he stated has changed for this year to Fuel Tech, primarily because of the chosen expert tuner only uses FT; connected with Proline too. All The Best, Sincerely

For the casual observation, when dynoing the car. The AFR appears to go so lean.

How does someone (Kyle) that is dyno testing a vehicle, not know how many gears it has? Thats kind of important so that the ratio is correct.
Why do yalls video titles always say more hp than it makes? Is the 1,000hp at the crank an making 840hp at the wheel
