You're touting having SmartThings built into devices such as the TV, but Samsung refuses to support Dolby Vision... Oh, did I mention I had a TV that supported being connected to SmartThings and then a few years later the support was dropped? I think I'd stick with having a hub and not relying on an appliance for the hub. You didn't mention that when you have multiple hubs connected that the automations through the second hub are still in the cloud and not processed locally. Local control of a hub when the internet goes out has been requested for years.
