To answer you question about whether we get that level of production every time - yes! with insomniac in SoCal, all of their festivals are high quality production. After going for the past 7 years, the nos has never been my favorite due to location, crowd levels, etc. but a majority of festivals have always been there. In the past year or two though insomniac has been branching out and moving their festivals to nearby areas in LA, but one I will always recommend is nocturnal which is also in San Bernardino (and is also 3 full days if you’re camping 👀) but it’s at the glen helen which is beautiful! I hope to meet you one day Emma 😭 hopefully one day at nocturnal!!
When the sara landry crowd happened I was already in the crowd before she started. The moment she went on I couldn't move and my fiancée got really uncomfortable so I tried to get us out. We got stuck and a couple in front of us was panicking. I grabbed onto them and got us all through the crowd. Grabbing people and switching places with them. Making the crowd flow as much as I could. Once we hit a open pocket I thought we were safe. It got much worse. People were passing out they were panicking and pushing and my fiancée and I were yelling at people to calm down and just keep moving forward slowing. To keep going towards the trees in the middle of the event center. This little 4ft tall girl was being crushed in front of me and I grabbed her and put her under my arm and just pushed through. When we finally made it to the trees and it opened up this dude told me I had lead a big part of the crowd out of the chaos because everyone started following me as I was yelling for people to move towards the trees 😂 I'm like ay rave mama reporting for duty 👍
Temecula is so far! From LAX to Temecula 😱. We stayed in Ontario and it was close enough. Highly recommend staying in Ontario next time for sure. They even have an airport there. I honestly feel like the younger people were mainly at the techno stage this year. The whole thing was backwards lol. Usually main stage is kids but I felt like the older crowd was at main stage. We mostly hanged out at Cheshire Woods and the crowd was amazing. VIP felt so empty there. On Saturday we bounced back between Cheshire Woods and the techno stage and it was great. Didn’t feel as packed as Friday. Glad you enjoyed it and are planning to come back.
This was my 4th beyond in a row and probably my favorite!! Not too crowded other than Sara Landry and amazing vibes!! You definitely picked the best festival at the NOS to visit😅
Do you have a discord channel? We could all share tips. Beyond nos is my favorite insomniac event in so cal. I've gone there enough times that I've learned a thing or two. Vibes are usually on point for beyond 🐇
First off how did I not run into you I was basically at the exact same spot as you like 5 different times lol. Secondly, agreed with all you said. I saw the writing on the wall with Sara so I made the tough choice to skip Sullivan King and get into a decent VIP spot for Sara Landry. 9/10 experience for me and in VIP. Surely some things to improve but wayyy too many over critical people on this festival.

really good recap, thank you!! love this podcast
I love love love nos … so cal is basically the home of insomniac and nos is basically holy ground for ravers and our history/community

I did Beyond in 2017 and 2018 and I have such fond memories from those fests! Glad you had a great time Emma 🫶
I think someone mentioned it in you other video, but flying into Ontario or John Wayne is a way better spot to fly into, wont have to deal with LAX.
Better off going to Ontario airport and you can stay in rancho Cucamonga its nicer there and not to far from the NOS

I'm so happy you had fun ❤
I agree it needs to be 3 days !

we were also at joyryde and went to Sarah Landry , somehow we made it in but they also told us that the VIP was full but we got in eventually
Places to stay instead : Ontario , chino , rancho , Fontana , all these are near by the Ontario airport
Chimichangas and I Hate Models is a vibe 😂
This video makes me miss the nos center and going to raves. I haven't been out for a while.
excellent content as always. I wish I could have been there for the gas station scene.😆
Omg I was so exhausted 😩 I didn't get home until like 5am as well 😪
🔥
Rancho is a great city to stay in not far from it either

Every year "plur is dead!"
People just need to take some L and love eachother. Plain and simple 😅
Great video 🙏🏽
Have you been to Elements?

I'm curious why you couldn't stay in the iheartraves house. 🤔
I was there on behalf of beatbox so professionally wanted to keep that separate so they could do their thing! Our beatbox team stayed in a hotel!
Ontario is only a 20 minute drive and is much nicer and much less $$$ than SB. And plenty of restaurants
But I also don’t think SB is that bad but it is more $$$
Definitely gonna do this next time!
Would you say Beyond was bigger than EDCO?
Sara Landry at beyond scares me into not seeing her at edclv this year
Hopefully they expanded neon garden bc 😬 that crowd was scary asfff
