Love the Westcliffe dress and great fitting. Similar to what I do - I’m often grading between 3-4 sizes to accommodate narrow shoulders, big bust and my waist/hips. 😂

Love all your makes on this vlog. You and Bec from @whatbecsews have inspired me to have another go at the Westcliffe. I made it when it first came out and really didn't like it on me. May have been because the fabric wasn't the best. Re your RTW dress (which I absolutely love!), the top of the SOI Penny dress isn't that dissimilar with an a line rather than full circle skirt maybe. X

Just an Idea for a dress similar to your ready to wear - use the salto top ( maison fauve) for the top part, and add your favourite skirt. Xx
I’ve been looking at that top for a while so I’ve been lucky enough to receive a foldline voucher, so in the basket it goes xx
@@SewLetsSparkleWithSam - ohh that’s lovely, the only bit I found tricky was keeping the left and rights of the armhole together. Gemini stitcher has done a sew along video which I found useful.
Loved how you explained your choice of pattern pieces ..thinking that I need to get that pattern and some jersey to try .. I am very different shape to you ..small bust and quite straight up and down..but hopefully I could work out what to do .. until now I’ve been using cottons.. not made a dress yet. Now to find way to save this vlog..( is that the correct name?). Thank you.

Great video - have you seen the new dress pattern by Helens closet? Might be similar to your rtw dress? Do you know if the westcliff dress pattern is discontinued as I can't see it on the fpc website?

@SewLetsSparkleWithSam I just messaged fpc and it is retired at the moment. Fingers crossed they'll bring it back soon 🤞
