Breda has one of the best winter carnival in North Brabant province. The vibes is a bit different than other brabant cities.
Breda is a Dutch city in the west of the province of North Brabant . Breda has traditionally been the main city of West Brabant . It was the capital of the Barony of Breda , which also included Roosendaal , Etten-Leur and Oosterhout, among others . The inhabitants are called Bredanars or Bredanaars.
The city was an important garrison and fortress city for centuries and still plays a visible role within the Dutch armed forces through the presence of the Royal Military Academy (KMA) and the headquarters of the Royal Netherlands Air Force . It has been the seat of the diocese of the same name since 1853 . The presence of the court of the Lords of Breda at first , but later also of facilities such as the Court , the Chamber of Commerce , and the Diocese have ensured that Breda has traditionally been the political, administrative and religious-administrativeheart of West Brabant . The city has traditionally also had a lot of trade and industry. It is located at a junction of water, rail and highways.
