🎲 Game Rules ♟
In the base rules, each player begins the game with a hand of two cards and two ISK (money). Each player takes one action on their turn:
"Play: Starting with the player to the left of the dealer and going clockwise, players take turns performing one of the available actions:
Income: Take one coin from the bank. This cannot be Challenged or Blocked.
Foreign Aid: Take two coins from the bank. This cannot be Challenged but it can be Blocked by the Duke.
Coup: Costs seven coins. Cause a player to give up an Influence card. Cannot be Challenged or Blocked. If you start your turn with 10+ coins, you must take this action.
Taxes (the Duke): Take three coins from the bank. Can be Challenged.
Assassinate (the Assassin): Costs three coins. Force one player to give up an Influence card of their choice. Can be Challenged. Can be Blocked by the Contessa.
Steal (the Captain): Take two coins from another player. Can be Challenged. Can be Blocked by another Captain or an Ambassador.
Swap Influence (the Ambassador): Draw two Influence cards from the deck, look at them and mix them with your current Influence card(s). Place two cards back in the deck and shuffle the deck. Can be Challenged. Cannot be Blocked.
Blocking: If another player takes an action that can be Blocked, any other player may Block it by claiming to have the proper character on one of their Influence cards. The acting player cannot perform the action and takes no other action this turn.
The acting player MAY choose to Challenge the Blocking player. If they win the Challenge, the action goes through as normal.
Challenge: When the acting player declares their action, any other player may Challenge their right to take the action. They are saying “I don't believe you have the proper character to do that.” The acting player now must prove they have the power to take the action or lose the Challenge. If they have the right character, they reveal it and place the revealed card back in the deck. They then shuffle the deck and draw a new card. The Challenging player has lost the Challenge. If they do NOT have the proper character, they lose the Challenge.
Losing a Challenge: Any player who loses a Challenge must turn one of their Influence cards face up for all to see. If that is their last Influence card, they are out of the game.
Losing Influence: Any time a player loses an Influence card, THEY choose which of their cards to reveal."

I like Nikki and Tiff separately but together they are too much. I know they said it’s just a joke but it definitely didn’t feel like it. I wish Geo was still here because she wouldn’t have stood for this at all.

Discovering these videos when the channel ended is crazy. I discovers it in May 2022 and now I’m getting anxious that I’ll run out of videos. These videos have helped me through one of the darkest end toughest times in my life. I don’t even remember how I found this channel lol I think I googled videos about mafia game.
tbh tiff's gameplay has improved a whole lot but you can definitely see a weird dynamic when she plays here versus all the other games pre-tiff nicki alliance. It's fun at first but idk just makes it hard to process

It's not a team game. At the end only 1 player wins before that happens though there are temporary alliances. These temporary alliances open strategic options.
Problem is Nikki and Tiff were treating it as a team game. In their minds so long as one of them won then their team won.
No you need to have teams. This expansion is all about teaming. It just doesn't make sense to have teams and not play with whatever team you're apart of.
You never understood it because the way Nikki and Tiff formed alliances outside the game, it didn't make any sense. If you play it in true selfish manner, doing what's best for yourself, then it creates a wonderful new paradigm of strategy.
Miss tiff and nikki on jkparty but don't what was going on that day between tiff and nikki probably had a few drinks before shooting the episode and watching it made it uncomfortable to watch it.

Ig people were really triggered w tiff bc she was never obnoxious. She never played like this w geo or Gina. It’s not like we don’t like it when they make alliances but they consistently were one. They should’ve changed it up like joe always does. In other games they would never acuse or attack each other which also ruined games. It’s not that they’re girls and we’re competitive that people didn’t like. They wouldn’t change their game play which made every game the same. Even the crew were tired of their relationship.

I never saw the original video that started all the drama around the Nikki-Tiff alliance. So I thought this was a new upload and that they were both back. Disappointed that they left because I did love their personalities individually. But seeing the first half of the video, I do see how they rubbed people the wrong way
Do we know why they left? I never really got the story on why everyone is pretty much gone. This group was so much fun to watch and now just doesn't feel the same

The only reason tiff's acting this way is because of nikki. We have been watching tiff for years now, her personality was nothing like this but nikki influence has great effect on her. You could say that she has grown to be either more confident because of it or straight up cocky(which is what i think it is) but all in all we can't get mad at them for it but at the same time they can't tell us how we should feel about it either. To each their own i guess.

They got revenge that we could've lived vicariously through to feel some sort of relief. & for me, it was never anything personal, just mainly in this one video, which obviously was mutual between the others playing. You can even still feel the tension big time in the second game, but it is still a game, and they got their fun little revenge. Definitely would've been smart to release during that time
They were going to if I remember correctly. At least Bchoi told us there was a video coming where Joe got revenge or something like that. Then shortly later they took down the video that irked people (first half of this video). IDK if it would have played out like you think it would though. I think viewers still would have gone after Nikki/Tiff's alliance hard.

Yeah they shouldn't have aired this one in my personal opinion as it brings back the nikki and tiff combo that most people didn't like because of how they act and play. It pretty much ruins the gameplay that could happen. I couldn't stand watching it and ended up skipping most of the video. The obvious alliance and smugness really ruined it for me. I wanted to see Coup played with real tactic and strategy that each person can use.

This is the first coup video I've watched in a long time and I remembered why I stopped. The Nikki and Tiff alliance takes away so much from the game, sure for them it's fun but the atmosphere outside of their little bubble might as well be a barren wasteland.

If you're talking about 6:19, Jo used his turn to gather 3 coins to pass the 10 coin limit. Because that was his turn he can't coup until the next turn. It's not forced once you hit 10, it's forced if you have 10+ at the start of your turn

After watching the entire thing (having already seen the reuploaded part the first time), the way Nikki and Tiff act in this 'revenge' episode gave me the same bad vibes I felt before. It was just Mean Girls mentality and I'm not here for it.
That's not to say this video is an entire representation of their personality. Far from it. And I wasn't a fan of how people started personally attacking them either. But the video still isn't fun to watch. Yes, I do miss the girls on JKP but I don't miss watching them teamming. Simple as that.
