I already had so much respect for Sean as an interviewer, but I love that he straight up pulled the host card and forbade Pete from doing the last dab. I was a junior in high school in 2001 and so I'm closer to Sean's age. Pete was only 7 in 2001 so it just hits different. Yes, I know Pete's Dad died in 9/11 which is why he's able to joke about it so much. The ones who saw the towers fall at older ages (I think) are still shocked with 9/11 jokes. If Pete's Dad didn't die, I doubt people would let him make so many jokes, imo. 🤷♀️

I have crohn's disease also, it is an autoimmune diseases that can cause ulcers throughout your gastrointestinal tract by eating food like this it can put you into a flare basically making your ulcers worse and causing bloating nausea diarrhea pain in your stomach hospital trips and in severe cases death or getting a part of your intestines took out. Its really surprising that he did this I wonder if it landed him in the hospital after the show

first time i have seen this. Pete was not in a good state to even continue this challenge anyway due to his Chron's but he was about to go full blown with it. Every older man does because Pete's father was one of the New York City firefighters who died on 9/11 (which was two months before Pete turned eight years old). Pete's mom never remarried (for now, anyway) and Pete does acknowledge that not having a dad during his formative years affected him.
Love Pete, he's my new hero! Amazed at the determination & perseverance he displayed during the challenge. It was clearly very difficult for him but mad respect to him for getting through instead of tapping out like many others. Love his quick wit, intelligence, thoughtful answers, his beautiful smile that lights up his face and his shy boyish mannerisms. Pete was definitely not the worst, he may have been the wettest but far from the worst. No shame in that game!! He ran the gauntlet! Wishing only the best for him in his career & personal life.
