Mr. de Lancie did his best to carry on Tabuteau's Tradition. It was a privilege to be at Curtis and study with him. Bob

I have the same recording, would play it on Sunday mornings many years ago. John Delancie is superb. Really nice to hear it again.

Mr. de Lancie had a sound and vibrato (or lack thereof ) that is truly glorious in this recording .

+TR PD Tuve la oportunidad de conocerle en persona en The New World School of the Arts en Miami.

Nice sound, do You recommend Tube Box DS for the money?

It's fine, I think that it's a good upgrade for a built-in phono stage on an integrated. I upgraded to Phonobox RS, but I never disliked it. Not as convenient because of the tiny jumpers on the back, makes it difficult to change cartridges quickly.

I understand. Would be great to know if it's an upgrade worth 7 times the original price if I changed my ART DJ PRE II to TubeBox DS in near future, though. Or>to save money and take the RS route, for example.

A friend loaned me the EAR one without the volume control and it's a jaw dropping unit. Very involving and clear sound. Expensive and large, I think I will wait a while.

Will You be posting any videos w/Ear? I can't wait till You do!

I only borrowed it for a week, trying not to get too attached. But I do recommend it, especially for MC, since it has about 62db of gain or something like that.
