- Hey Everyone, In this video I finish up my little New England Adventure, riding from Kent Connecticut into New York and Pennsylvania. I made my way onto The Duchess Rail Trail in Route for The Hudson Sky Way, but unfortunately the bridge was closed and I had to find another way across The Hudson River. Just a bit south was The Mid Hudson Bridge with a pretty interesting pedestrian walkway for me to ride over.
I had a great time up north and im anxious to get back while the leaves are changing for another New England Adventure.
Thanks for following along, staying tuned, and many more adventures to come in the future.

Another one in the books. Great ride. Looking forward to your next adventure. Take care, Al
More to come!
Great vid, nice weather too. Thanx.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Great ride videos! Beautiful place to ride for sure.
It really is!
Dude, if you ride the entire Empire State Trail, I would love to come along with you. I would do whatever I could to get my time free to make it happen.
Cool, that would be fun. Hope you don’t mind being on camera.
@@TravelingThru222 I’m sure I’d be quite the ham
Nice, man. Sweet bridge crossing
Yes indeed, that was my first time across The Midhudson. Seems like a nice place to sleep.
Good One
Thanks for the visit
Great video, but looks a gnarly place to ride.
Thanks for watching. Such a great ride.
Nice ride. The weather sure was tough though
A bit wet on this last trip. Always a great time up north.
ride safe
Thanks, you too.
Hey! I'm the first. congratulations on finishing the trails.
Nice job coming first, send me your address, I’ll send you a sticker. travelingthru222@gmail.com
I want a sticker!
Are you still riding the Epic?
Did you get to see/hear the Bridge Music on the Mid Hudson Bridge?
I did not hear any music on the bridge.
I WOULD STAY SOUTH ON 7 TO DANBURY CONN TO PA 462 WEST / BICYCLE PA RTE S. TO HARRISBURG PA / BICYCLE PA RTE J2. LEADS TO WYTHEVILLE VA WHICH IS WHERE TRANS AMERICA TRAIL ALL THE WAY TO COLORADO. LOL.......
Ha, wish I could this year. Stay tuned.
Nice work. You ever consider bar ends or aero bars or something for another hand position on the flat bars or is it not an issue for you?
Yes indeed. The flat position does become an issue on long rides, I often grip close on the inside of the bar in some downhill tucks, I’ve been looking at Farr Carbon aero bars, also thinking about inside bar hood position little stem grips. I plan on racing this bike next year and I’m trying to not add any more weight. Also looking at a carbon flat bar. Any suggestions?
@@TravelingThru222 I picked up some SQ Labs innerbarends 411 (the plastic ones not the carbon ones). Slot in-between the levers and the grips. Contoured for your hands and you can still reach the brakes when in them. I haven't had a chance to do any real long miles but been great on some mid-sized rides. Weight is negligible. My only carbon flatbar experience is a Whisky bar which I cracked, so probably wouldn't recommend that one.
Awesome, Thanks for the tips. Definitely picking up some innerbarends, Ive seen some peeps putting drop bars on this bike, (Lael Wilcox) but I think I'm rolling with a Flat bar. I have lots of modifications to do on The Epic. Ive been doing research and think I can still shave pounds off this thing. Looking forward to The SID shock. Really appreciate and value your insight.@@TheLankyCyclist
Fun fact. My bachelor party’s last stop was @ 10:29 LOL
Ha, awesome.
White-colored clothing would make you more visible to drivers at a greater distance than dark-colored. Stay safe.
Yes it would.
