The reason why ChaeY (the girl with tiara) seems weird and doesn't match with other members probably because she is the only one who represents a place. Other members mostly represent historical figures in Korea. According to their co-producer, ChaeY herself represents a place called 천지 (heaven lake) in Nort Korea. A holly lake to people in the Korea peninsula and a very beautiful place especially in spring. That just my opinion. Sorry if I am wrong.
I liked everything but the song... Honestly for me the song is just a big mess, I like some parts but it doesn't go together well I think, also the flow of some lyrics didn't feel right. As you mentioned the first part I couldn't tell the chorus either and that really botheres me. But I like the visuals a lot, I like the rap and the voices, the dance looks cool too and I think this group has a potential. I hope the next song will be better.
@@ImJustJoshie do you check the official audio or like, their live stages and choreo video yet? While the song still sounds a bit messy, because of the lyrics and flow, its not as messy as the music video. They edited the mv to be like, this movie-like scenes and edited the songs to match the scene thats why its even more messy lol.
@Pringles the problem with mv is, they edited it to have longer pause, and make it more cinematic, while in stage and official audio, its normal because they match it with the choreo not with how they film it. Thats why some of the beat is kinda diff too, but only slightly.
You should check out the explanation of their co-producer in his channel. Each member have their own character, and the meaning of the song is quite interesting
So happy you reacted them. I love this song and I love the girls even more. Hope you check out future content from them as well. They just released a behind the scenes video and they show some of the camera work being done in that last scene so might be worth checking out as a reaction or just in your free time. Glad you enjoyed it. Appreciate you.
The song was a whole trip for me but watching the lives made me love it The girl in the beginning/the rapper with long hair that starts the song reminds me of Miyro from B.E.G
Since you really like Swan's voice (the one you keep commenting on!) you should check out her pre-debut solo single. It really showcases her voice in a lot of ways, and at least in my opinion, while it's a ballad(-esque?) it doesn't go the conventional ballad route which you might be impressed by.
I personally feel like this MV is not "pleasing" because of the mix of the aesthetics. They could've used only real places (like that temple shot) or the scene with thrones.
A lot of English words pronounce X like a Z (Xenophobia for example is pronounce Zenophobia, not Kzenophobia like the X of Craxy). I get what you mean but to really show the pronunciation more accurately it would be Crakzy or even Craksy.
I gave this song multiple listens but the mixing is just so confusing. It seems like there's several good songs all mixed together. The group is talented but the song was just too much
THANK YOU FOR REACTING TO THEM! T_T I was worried for a negative review, but it was an overall balanced review! Thank you so much! I love this song and play it often every while and then. They have potential, let's see if their company can find their sound.
Also, forgot to mention, if you look up the characters they're portraying, you will know why they have different sets to represent each member. It all makes sense when you know the story and meaning behind it.
YOU REACTED TO MY GIRLS! yay! honestly this song was alright the first time I listened to it but the more I listened to it the more I liked it, specially chaeY's part! It's so good
Thanks for the reaction to CRAXY! All the members represented some sort of historian Korean culture in the MV. ChaeY (pink hair member) represented Paektu Mountain (also called Heaven Lake). Its a volcano lake at the border of China and North Korea and during the spring time the whole mountain blooms. That is why it so bright and vibrant. Overall the MV was all over the place but the more I listened to it the more I liked it.
after a few listens it grows on you and suprisingly this song is much better live!! their stage presence is damn scary for a nugu group so i am really looking forward to their next song
I like 90%of the song and 100% the video. It's something different, and people are complaining about them not following the building of a song. But anyway so they stay in interest because people talk a lot about them. I don't liked much the rap and too up beat parts of the girl with the brown short hair. Don't know her name. But the vocal line is awesome ❤️ Thank you for your kind words for them 💕
I normally don't like girl group music besides Dreamcatcher but when I listened to Craxy, I actually liked it. I get when people say the song seems messy but it doesn't bother me thaat much.
I really enjoyed this in depth analysis of set/ camera and song. I don't watch all of your reactions, but the ones I did lately didn't go into depth much, so I started to be less interested in them. But this was great, thanks!
As a cravity (craxy fandom) I am so thankful that you check them out. I 100% agree that it is messy. Super messy. If you check their predebut stuff... man the mixing... lets just say that it is "unlistenable" messy. The vocal, rap, and all are great, but the producing is really questionable. But at the same time, they are new to this industry, both the artists and the company, so it makes sense they are still messy and learning. But dang their livestages. Oh perfection. Their movement and their charisma. Been following them for 1-2 years and ngl, kinda scared of rough debut, but so far they have been above par.
For me I liked their performance of the song on live stages more than the music video. I really wished the mv showcased the choreography more because it is really cool and I was very impressed by their dance moves. Also I feel like the song sounded different performed live than in the mv? I'm not a music expert or anything so I can't tell if it was actually mixed differently or if it sounded like it was because we got to see the full choreo. Either way, I'm very intrigued by this group and they all are very talented! I can't wait to see what they bring in the future.
I am so excited to see what you think of this! I am so early haha! EDit: I finished watching you reaction and so here are my thoughts on the mv! I thought that the video was pretty good, I really liked the ending set and the traditional set when watching it, but I didn't like the song for the first two listens. The song is definitely a grower kind of song, but I love the members! You should definitely check out their pre-debut single, it's more simple in just a one box set, but the vocals and dance are great.
It’s a strange song when you listen for the first time, but after 3 times, oh you love it. It’s different and I love the song and the MV! There’s a video where they explain the sets of MV and who the members represents, and after you see it, everything makes sense. Love Craxy! ❤️
Yo I fucking LOVED THIS SONG!! This is very fresh. It seems to be a combination of cute, girl crush, fantasy and I don’t know what else. Yes the song entirely was a mess which goes really well with the group’s name and image!! Each member is so unique and have their own style. I felt like I was watching an anime lol. The ending reminded me of the ending of BTS idol (Nicki Minaj versión) WHICH MADE ME LOVE IT EVEN MORE!!! Ok ok imma calm down.... This group better make it big. I see myself becoming a fan already. I can’t wait for their next comeback!
Thank you for reacting to this! I know when I watched it there were a lot of conflicting opinions in the comments so it’s nice to get a more knowledgeable perspective!
This has to be one of my favorite videos from you! I love how u analyzed the video on this one. Perfect MVs are fun to see but I love getting ur take on MVs that could use some work.
Before seeing this vid PD, the MV is about korean Culture/history thats explain why the MV is like that and the lyrics and u should check the producers channel that they explained very well
Yeah i’m with you this song and MV just gives me so many contradicting feelings it’s weird. Some parts of the song are literal fucking perfection like the transition into the second chorus but then there’s other parts that just aren’t it like the first chorus. Also they def need to do something different with the rapper with the short hair, her raps just didn’t sound right for the song at all. The MV is so blatantly fake and some parts it looks amazing and others it’s just not it. Like the last scene is so beautiful but then other parts just look weird. Def looking forward to their future stuff though
Almost half of the comments say they couldn't tell the chorus at first and here I am trying not to hear that it's the chorus. Idk, it's just so clear but maybe it's just me.
Firstly let's talk about how the crab is matching the sound of the music. Second One thing i can say they put out for the MV the quality isn't something i've never seen for a debut group. Thirdly the song is one hell of a trip but i'm not sure where it lies with me.However I will say the live stage was pretty good
I feel like I belong to the small percentage of people that enjoyed the song first listen. Yes, the mixing is hella weird and I don’t get it myself lol and the structure of the song is strange too but in all honesty that kinda makes me like it a lot. Because it is messy but not the terrible kinda messy. And a lot of the vocal parts in the song are so catchy to me and sound absolutely amazing like I can’t resist the song lol. The choreography is also hella good imo and quite creative may I add along with the storyline of the MV. Now... ‘My Universe’ is their worst group song and don’t even get me started on their solos... whoever their producer is needs to really improve and stop layering raps/vocals because it honestly sounds annoying like it did during Hyejin’s rap in ARIA. Poorly produced songs could be one of the downfalls for CRAXY in my opinion especially considering their competition right now within the industry and I would absolutely HATE to see these girls not succeed and not go far as their potential is tremendously high imo. Highest I’ve personally seen in any 4th gen rookie gg so far. They have absolutely INSANE vocals and great dancers not to mention they debuted with something that’s very unique visually, lyrically and musically which already successfully sets them apart from other ggs as they’re not following any generic trends. Rapping needs a bit of work especially from Wooah and Hyejin but overall pretty decent. So for a rookie gg, they are extremely good. There’s absolutely no holes within the group. All that the girls need is an actually good song with really good or at least better production quality. But since they do come from a hella small and unknown company, I’m not having any really high expectations and they are rookies too.
I'm sorry this is ot but I wanted to know what happened with the "Obsession" and "Reality in black" listening parties They're no longer on the Release schedule sheet. are they cancelled?
I didn't like the song at first for real but after watched the live version and saw them singing while dancing it makes the song sounds make sense to me and either i didn't like the mv at first because it is so damn cinematic but weird somehow but after heard the co producer explain the mv's theory it make the mv seems make sense too and made me think that the mv is actually beautiful. Idk if u gonna do this but u probably have to watch their live perform they don't seem like a rookie group😍 their live performance really made me become a cravity😍
Turtle ship-A Geobukseon (Korean: 거북선, Korean pronunciation: [kʌbuksən]), also known as turtle ship in western descriptions, was a type of large Korean warship that was used intermittently by the Royal Korean Navy during the Joseon dynasty from the early 15th century up until the 19th century. It was used alongside the panokseon warships in the fight against invading Japanese naval ships. The ship's name derives from its protective shell-like covering.
i think the reason i really like this song is because it is kinda a messy song, older kpop songs from gen 2 never really had your classic arrangement, and the music was always the kind you would really never hear anywhere else. But since today kpop appeals more to westerners, the sound of kpop has westernized a little. But i really appreciate the old school fee i got from this:
Literally since pre-debut cravities have acknowledged that the girls are super talented, but the production is just not there in terms of mixing. I'm glad we weren't crazy thinking that LOL
I did warn you about the wonky arrangement when I first requested it, but watching it with your commentary, I think the producers wanted to hit every aspect of a popular kpop song: interesting but powerful intro, strong vocals, underlying meaning/message, high note before the breakdown, the breakdown, hype beat drop, unique instruments/sounds, epic rapping, low tone whispering, and probably more but thats all i think of atm.
I was really distracted by the crabs. I kept looking at them because it looked like they were dancing to the music and that they stuck to the beat pretty well.
I know you don't post reactions on videos that you dislike, but I somehow like it a lot when you mention things that are not well done! I think it's often very informative and I feel like I learn something haha. Of course there is no disrespect meant for the groups, but I think it's healthy to have a critical eye.
It's a very unusual kpop choreography as well. The production team needs some polish and learn what they are doing with their songs etc. The brown haired girl needs to change how she uses her voice. But they have really good potential to stand out.
I think the girls are just really talented, I was so surprised. And I think that the raps could have literally been from 2010 haha. Thats the only thing I dont really like abt the song
From my understanding they had a lot of mixing problems so when filming the video it’s the original cut with the unfortunate mixing, but got fixed more with the actual song on the sound track, along with when they perform on music shows that is the fixed mix. I also read this somewhere so don’t quote me, but i think that the sets relate to their individual concepts and how it all comes together to create Craxy themselves.
인도네시아의 에이전시에 대한 설명입니다 (Glenn & Chelsie 프로듀서 및 아티스트) This is the explanation of the Agency from Indonesia (Glenn & Chelsie Producer and also an artist) @ 인도네시아의 대행사가 확실히 가장 편안한 곳이라고 확신합니다 @
the thing is i think they really meant to mix a song composition, like make it unique and way less predictable comparing to all the other k pop songs, at least that’s what i got, yes it’s hard to get used at first but i think it’s really dope and we shouldn’t see something different as bad, but yeah there’s other issues such as vocals not fitting the mix sometimes
I’m mesmerized by the crabs in the background

The video was amazing, the localtions, the sets, the girls visuals was on point but the song was messy but they have potential.
I like this reaction 🖤
why does it bother so many people that they can't tell what chorus is? i'm curious
I actually really liked it!
This group is way better than the song, you can tell they have talent and charisma
The song is very very addictive
I did warn you about the wonky arrangement when I first requested it, but watching it with your commentary, I think the producers wanted to hit every aspect of a popular kpop song: interesting but powerful intro, strong vocals, underlying meaning/message, high note before the breakdown, the breakdown, hype beat drop, unique instruments/sounds, epic rapping, low tone whispering, and probably more but thats all i think of atm.
This song is iconic in 5 different songs LMAO
The fact that the crab in the back of on beat...
Of course there is no disrespect meant for the groups, but I think it's healthy to have a critical eye.
its been 2 minutes of the video and i cannot get my eyes out of those crabs dancing in the back, the hell is that? hahaha
It's a very unusual kpop choreography as well. The production team needs some polish and learn what they are doing with their songs etc. The brown haired girl needs to change how she uses her voice. But they have really good potential to stand out.
Yesss 😭❤️
I love them
I kept getting distracted by the dancing crab in the background. 😅
I never expected you reacted to them
I think the girls are just really talented, I was so surprised. And I think that the raps could have literally been from 2010 haha. Thats the only thing I dont really like abt the song
PD IM waiting for the CRAXY MEMBERS to comment on Ur Reaction. Thank U! Hope U can chek der Predebut nd Solo Songs. CRAXY fandom name is CRAVITY!🤗
The song reminds me of ToppDogg's Arario... the use of traditional korean instruments as well as the abrupt changes in the key...
Those crabs were jamming
I had no clue what to think about this song after listening to it. I think i love it tho... 🤨
MV is great......Song is messy...but alot potential!
Background crab was rockin' to the beat for most of the video!
I also think that “first chorus” isnt a real chorus and more of an extended verse with hints of chorus elements
인도네시아의 에이전시에 대한 설명입니다 (Glenn & Chelsie 프로듀서 및 아티스트)
This is the explanation of the Agency from Indonesia (Glenn & Chelsie Producer and also an artist) @
인도네시아의 대행사가 확실히 가장 편안한 곳이라고 확신합니다 @
the thing is i think they really meant to mix a song composition, like make it unique and way less predictable comparing to all the other k pop songs, at least that’s what i got, yes it’s hard to get used at first but i think it’s really dope and we shouldn’t see something different as bad, but yeah there’s other issues such as vocals not fitting the mix sometimes
I NEVER EXPECTED THIS
You have to watch Seventeen’s fallin flower!!
Bro if you haven’t seen Stray Kids’ newest MV you NEED to check it out!!
ngl I thought this wasn't a debut with how good it was
