basically Vada gets a text from her sister saying she got her period so she asks the teacher to use the bathroom to help her. She then decides to actually use the bathroom where she meets Mia. They then hear gunshots and hide in the stall. Another kid comes into the bathroom to hide and the rest of the movie is about her trying to recover from her trauma. The movie ends with her getting a notification about another school shooting which remains her about her trauma. The ending has deep meaning because it shows how some people are never able to recover from such sad and traumatic experiences
