Thank you for the review, Nick! Really helped me decide. I don't think the jet black will be difficult to maintain. I generally keep my phones in cases and take them out only occasionally when I'm at home to enjoy the look and feel. I had the matte black since January. Sold it to get the s8 plus but i dont like it. I was thinking of getting the iphone 7 plus again but this time in a different colour. I had my matte black back paint rub off where my fingers held it. This began to happen within the first month of use. I now want to try a different colour. Since the jet black has been infamous for being scratch prone, I was apprehensive. That is why I wanted to see an owner's long term usage experience. Thanks bro for taking out the time to make this video. Subscribed!

Hi, Nick! Seeing your video, I decided to visit an apple store to get the jet black. But, the demo unit there was scratched to hell. It had round circles, maybe due to cleaning it with a normal cloth and zig-zag lines all over it. The sales representative there said it will scratch no matter what you do. This has disappointed me and confused me again. I do plan to keep it in a case but occasionally take it out to enjoy the look and feel. I keep my phone on a micro fibre cloth when not using it or while charging whenever it's not in a case. Do I really need to worry? Will the jet black still scratch with 80% of keeping in the case and the rest naked with careful placing it on clean and soft surfaces? Please advise me. I am frustrated with this confusion.
Nipun Sharma yeah it will. It’s just how it works. However, you can significantly reduce the # of scratches that you have by being careful.
never really knew what the hype was about for the jet black . I mean it's okay I guess but for some reason I preferred the silver color over any other 7 plus color just my opinion

I think my case has ruined my jet black
HyaCinth I put mine in an otterbox defender but I may have scratched it when I took the otterbox off so now I'm never taking it off only wiping the dust off while the case is on
I had my iPhone 7 plus for about three months now I had my s7 for about six before I sold it I still prefer the iPhone amazing standby time the security and timely updates of the os...the polished apps. Whenever I go to android I always come back...

Hamim Mohammed ofc it is :) also has better battery but when it comes to relability smoothness gaming and system iphone wins :).. Equals both phones are great with a great camera. Personaly right now im using iphone as my main phone but i also love the samsung devices. When it comes to practicality samsung is the best, if you are interested about relability, smoothness, about the camera then you ahould get the iphone.
