Yeah this is a pretty good way of assessing the game. To me all the other people in the comments calling it bad are kinda being hypocrites when you consider that there’s some attempt to make different from the other Sonic Exe clones that literally are just copy and paste of the original with the characters just walking to the right. You can do much worse than this.

To be honest, this game feels like a remake of the original, no good ending, no good fights, a very few secrets to find, and only Tails, Knuckles and Eggman as characters, no Metal Sonic or the girls, not a bad game but after seeing so many good Sonic.exe fangames doing cool things with the exe concept, it feels like Its lacking lots of things.
Sonic went like "lemon" and vaporized. Also, this is just One Last Round but more accurate

First off:
Wow! This doesn’t take heavy inspiration from One Last Round, PC Port Remake, Nightmare Beginning, Spirits of Hell, Sonic.Ribs, Sonic.EYX, OR Sonic 2011 at ALL!
Secondly:
Why are all the sound effects so bitcrushed? Has no reason to be and it’s just dumb
Third:
No new exe design at all, though maybe that’s a good thing considering Pawel’s other OCs are “generic the recolour” from what I can gather
Fourth:
The flashy effects are overdone. Plus they’re borderline seizure inducing at points

That was awesome! I really liked this alternative take of the sonic.exe creepypasta! The sprites for the characters, the polished backgrounds, the cool looking death screens, the amazing looking game over screen, the polished I Am God screen, and even the new sprite for X looks pretty cool! I also think I saw a reference to mario's madness somewhere! Plus, I totally think you should check out the mario's madnees mod whenever you have the time SunFire, it's really cool! Honestly, I don't know which game I like better, Sonic 2011 or sonic.exe alternative universe? They're both really cool games! I choose both! By the way, good job on the video SunFire!❤️👍 looking forward to you doing the secrets and easter eggs in this game soon!

@@zacharytashianI'm making a game that although it takes some things from the original exe game. It aim at retinterpretating the story but within a lore hidden on it and s very sad ending. Though at first glance it may seem that this is a "generic Sonic exe game" becajse that is what most people tend to say whether someone makes an exe game. However, I am making sure sure that this game doesn't (or tried no to) look like that the common sonicb games..if you want I can show you s script for you to get the idea of it.
Pd: You may be wondering why I chatted you in the first place, you were talking about a reinterpreation of Sonic like 2011 or alternate universe, and I had the idea that you may provide feedback for my new reinterpreation (if you want to of course) Also, if you wantz you can be willing to provide me feedback of itz and the targets I need to improve (only if you want). I think having people that provides feedback is a great way to improve games. And since you are well on spotting mistakes in games such as Sonic exe. I think you would be able easily to point the mistakes of my script. Also made some game art of it. I aim at making this game scary, and drawing ideas to caught the player off guard. So whatcha say, would you help me lending your feedback. It would be a blast to rely on the opinion of others to improve things out, seriously you would really contribute to the help of the project.

Wow! It all ends on a generic bad ending + i am god screen! How original! Im not gonna make a whole essay on why i hate how nowdays the exe fangames are all the same,one of the few fangames nowdays that did something different is .exe the destiny where even in the bad ending sonic fights against the exe,now you might say: are you crying about that this fangame doesnt end with a good ending? Now while thats sort of true that not my main complain,its that its just too predictable,tails starts happily on green hill-oh no dead animals now i sad :(-nvm i found sonic yay-nvm he evil now im in angel island and its burning-tails dies,heck,if i wanted to play a remake of this creepypasta,id play the 2011 remake,at least the deaths make me feel bad for the characters + actually scared.

This is made to mimic the actual creepypasta, of course it’s gonna be the generic… in fact this might be one of the only games that it’s entire premise is to BE generic.
i disagree. while its grimdark to see them die, its kinda generic and corny if the characters get saved out of nowhere. reminds me of those cringey sonic.EXE fanfics i read when i was an edgy teen. you aren't playing a game about characters trying to survive a monster. you are playing inside a place that was created by the monster for sadistic pleasure. the destiny series and a few others are exeptions to the formula by changing one factor. EXE not being a god or acting like one. for example executor is a version in which he hasn't taken full control and he's trying to eliminate the characters to get what he wants.
good writing is something i also love but i still love a game like this because of the feeling like its remastering a concept. one thing i really liked was the characters expressing more emotion than any other EXE game ive seen. the original 2011.EXE felt more dry on the feeling and more darker. more narrow.
for instance Tails is genuinely crying and terrified. he is running for his life and when he is caught he is cowering. the whole way through you felt powerless and its because tails was conveying to you he doesn't know what to do. the original only had this change in the other half of the sequence. but here Tails was scared and uncomfortable all the way.
in the other sequences Knuckles actually looks pissed off. EXE is constantly taunting knuckles. the way he taunts him makes him feel like he is in complete control. and when EXE was bored he smashed knuckles to pieces. compared to 2011.EXE where its just knuckles vs a creepy vacuum cleaner.
Eggman was completely caught off guard with losing his legs. least that was better than OG coming out of nowhere and OOfing Eggman.
the original did make EXE feel like a threat. but this game expanded in almost every way fleshing everything out.
