I bought the same pair the start of this season. I went Rogers Breatheable because of your channel and I am very glad I did. Low profile clips definitely help with shouldering the gun, 11 shells across the chest is great, and the boot make them 110% worth the buy.
Here southern Cali it’s ok, no migration here either, only local birds. I have been able to go home at least one bird per hunt and many others are in the same boat. Hope it changes soon and end the season with a bang. Hope everyone is having a great time out there and connect with few birds with this hot weather.
99% sure I saw you at Cheyenne bottoms and talked to you about your boat thing back behind you & offered to help you load it in. Didn't know it was you, cheers man
I have the same ones, and I LOVE the straps because there's no buckle in the way when I shoulder my gun! But the straps are difficult to hook/unhook when your hands are cold.
Arkansas season just opened and we are loaded with ducks. Most ducks I’ve seen this early in the season in a long time. Opening morning, our pit shot 4 man limit in 50 minutes. Second morning were shot a 3 man limit in 30 minutes. Mostly teal with a few Mallards and Spoonies mixed in. If you what to make the drive down for a hunt, let me know.
Do be careful where you walk with these waders. The second hunt of the season I poked a hole through the neoprene part of the boot, around the ankle, on my brand new set of these waders. Word to the wise, a beaver chewed stick will easily make these waders leak. I’ve patched them since with AquaSeal but I was disappointed in my luck. Just use caution busting through just any type of brush with these. They are not the toughest. The fit and finish of these waders was very good, and as long as my patch job last and my foot stays dry, I believe I will very much enjoy them this season and maybe more.
I had the same exact thing happen to me! The whole was a little higher around my knee. My parch seal only lasted about 3 weeks. But I hunt about 4 days a week so 12 hunts it lasted. Had to re patch
Went up to Missouri for the opener and had a blast and the locals were complaining about how bad it was but it’s wayyyyyyy better then Georgia and while up there we went to Rogers and that store was awesomeeeeeee
I just purchased this pair, thanks for the video and tip on the sale! Do you fit into the slim or regular? I'm size 12 boot but 5'10" and 200lbs, I have never been a 'slim' person but the measurements on the regular seemed way to big. Went with the slim for mobility, hope they fit.
Well, season hasn’t started for us in TN, but opening weekend is coming soon, I’ve been scouting and it looks promising, I don’t know how many are local ducks and how many are actually early migration birds that are hanging around because of the weather. But we can’t wait to get out next weekend.
Mine had holes after 2 trips, luckily I’m in Texas so the water isn’t too cold but still I’d like some kind of durability, of course warranty is void because I wore them out
Would you recommend going up a boot size if I like to double layer socks in the late season with a pair of thermal socks and a pair of regular socks on top?
I'm in eastern Ontario (Canada) and going out tomorrow for the first time this year. hopefully we still have birds around. have seen tons of honkers though!
Love the waders, if I were to make an improvement is to make the boot all rubber. The neoprene is the weakest link in this whole design. (Put a hole in mine on the second trip out, no idea how it even happened.) Other than that they are the best and most comfortable waders I’ve worn.
What do you recommend to patch holes in breathable waders? I've had mine (same Rogers waders) for 1 season now. I've probably wore them 8 times and already have a hole at the seam of the boot and wader. These waders are by far the most comfortable I've ever had, I think I just got bad luck on this little hole.
I'm 6 foot 220lbs with size 13 boot. What size should I get? I wear sweat pants, shirt and sweater for 90% of the time. Looking at the size chart I'm in the middle of large and xlarge. My current wader are Hodges and sized xlarge and are too loose from belt up. I don't have a Rogers near me and would be taking the chance ordering them online.
I got my very first duck last weekend it was a Redhead Drake i am going in the morning and hoping i can get some more I am here in kansas as well I purchase a pair of rogers toughman 2-1 waders i was going to go elite but this being my first year i decided to go a little bit cheaper and have loved them but bet i would like the elites even more here is hoping north wind tomorrow and raining in my area hoping to at least see some ducks
In the last week I've been out 6 times or so and have shot 3 Drake mallards seeing lost of birds they just aren't consistent with any water hole and can't get on a good field
You’ll learn as you go, my first few times I didn’t get nothing then I started getting one duck per trip and just started getting better/learning from there.
@@jessemccarthy05 Last Saturday of the season made it out with my Niece. Met up with a buddy of mine who put us on birds. Was hoping she would get a bird first but when they came in, it was on my side and I smoked a drake wigeon. 1st and only bird of the season. But I'm ready for this up coming season already!
@@jeremyjulienne160 Awesome man!!! It's a blast and addictive as all get out. Make sure you all get out ther for spring turkey here in the next few months, that is another fun season. Enjoy and God bless!
@outdoorlimits josh what size do you wear? Regular or slim? I’m size 10, 5’10” and 170lbs. Not sure if I should order the slim or regular. Can’t try on as I’m in Canada. Any advice? Thanks.
Rogers waders are the BEST! I have had quite a few different brands and they are hands down the top of the line. Ive got the Rogers Toughman Elite 5mm and wouldnt trade em for anything else.
Youre vids are awsome btw but i broke my leg and im new to duck hunting i started getting into it this year so i got screwed pretty bad lol so we will try tho
Had more birds bagged by this time last year. Much drier some of the places dont have any water and more hunters competing for the places that do have water.
Michael, I have the Frogg Togg’s 2.0 refuge breathable insulated waders, slight difference but basically the same! Price is reasonable, they give veteran’s discount!
@@joegodina1738 ya found some here locally seem fairly decent like the zip out lining my first pair of breathable getting back into duck hunting after several years off just don’t want to waste money on something that won’t hold up

Used my new Rogers 2 in 1’s today for regular season opener today and loving it so far! 👍🏻

slow out here in cali...had one decent storm came through but lifted after half a day
I’m in Portland, or and hunting has been very good. Lots of pintails early but they seem to have moved. Seeing mallards now.

I’m in Iowa. Still grinding by getting out there but not bagging limits just picking up a few but still super glad to be out there!

Helped a lot when making the decision just ordered a pair
They truly are excellent waders!

Any update on how they fit? I’m 6’ 170 and was looking at the slim, measurements seemed a little short on the inseam on the slims but I may be wrong
Here in Northern Nevada has been slooooow. Same w/you south winds, local birds, can’t decoy or call em. Rough days.
Vancouver island. Lots of green wings and green heads. Few honkers
Love my tough man 2 in 1 waders, got out this morning before class got a drake mallard here in NJ had two inches of ice in one of my spots

Love Rogers waders, good stuff
Why so many kayaks? Can you do a walk through on those? Good insight in the waters.
Where I am in California has been really slow, thank god for spoonies and teal lol.
Same here bro, we cant get any ducks without a rain storm, and they'll all be teals lol
Southern New England 2 ducks 3 geese. Pretty slow out here. Hoping tomorrow luck changes.
Mine had holes after 2 trips, luckily I’m in Texas so the water isn’t too cold but still I’d like some kind of durability, of course warranty is void because I wore them out
Right now have some woodies, teal, and a nice drake cotton top
I bought the zip front elite 2in1 this year. Love them

lots on the bays and shore of lake Ontario , not just divers still a good amount of mallards

So do you think if I walk through a jagger bush it’s gonna rip them or puncture them?
Limited on ducks 11/20 and 11/21 just off Cheyenne Bottoms.
Was looking at these waders yesterday and found your review.
Definitely be ordering mine
It's going well, certainly not peak. I'm liken that Kayak hanging system behind you.
Those boots look good on those waders

I live in arkansas and duck season opens tomorrow and I am worried that there is any ducks down here yet

Tried a pair of their 3 in 1 I believe it was a few years ago... Loved them but they leaked right out of the box ☹️
How are the boots compared to to the tough man? Not sure what ones I want to get and that’s the selling point to me
So the 1200 gram boots on these are just as warm as a 1600 gram boot?
I’ve killed 56 ducks and 6 geese this year best year yet so far!!
I killed 100 ducks and 50 geese this year so far this is my worst year. It sucks.
Slow here in Oregon as well man. Throwin decoys in a tshirt lol
The removable insulation makes them 10 times easier to patch if the need may arise.
Went on a hunt yesterday.... not as good as usual. It is going to be a warm winter. According to the weather channel
Daam the mallards bro t shirt 🔥
What’s the difference between the elite and the regular 2 in 1s
Ducl season opens tomorrow
Alabama boy here just got back from kansas and did 3 man limits 5 mornings in a row.
It is rilly slow up here in Maine so fare I have shot two hoodid mangazers and that’s it
I’ve been doing great in Al most ducks I’ve seen in years
Alabama?
Sounds good but I don`t do anything higher than my Wading Boots I pretty much do everything out of my Duck Boat .
What actual date do these go on sale??
In the last week I've been out 6 times or so and have shot 3 Drake mallards seeing lost of birds they just aren't consistent with any water hole and can't get on a good field
My season isn’t even open in Tennessee yet
This is my first year/season waterfowling. Everytime I've gone out, which is 4 times, I've struck out.

Y’all mad about the warm, but I’m mad about the cold pushing all the local woodies out 🥺 like a month ago
Up north it’s been inconsistent all year.
Can you make a vid where you go to Walmart and spend 50 dollars on duck hunting gear and hunt public land. I think that would be a cool challenge

I was gonna ask a size question also, but see that guy does not respond to comments at all. 😢
Super content!!!!
what camo pattern are your waders?
Mossy oak habitat

Damn i literally just bought these today. Maybe they will honor the discounted price
I can not get out disabled duck an goose hunter in Nebraska i have to use pubic land i can get too
If you think it’s bad up there, imagine how bad it is in south texas
Had more birds bagged by this time last year. Much drier some of the places dont have any water and more hunters competing for the places that do have water.
It has been slow. Shot a few but not like usual.
Terrible where I’m at.
What if your color blind ? Who makes the waders for Rodgers seem a lot like frog togg waders to me ?
Buddy was good?

not impressed with the cell phone pocket. In the cold it cracked on my waders and the spinning wing bag.
First
sssslllllooooowwwww!
I have have been destroying the bird in super up north California
Could you send me a hat I just turned 16 on the 17th and I really like them, please 🙏
$400 for a pair of waders?! Most of the people who watch this can’t afford it that.
That is Cheap for a high quality pair of waders. Sitka and banded are making waders $800-$1200
