Love she doesn't like to waste butter etc. Made blueberry crepes for dinner. Retired and love quick supper. Tomorrow hot fudge sundaes! Almost 80 and no rules balanced meals!
I just finished making them! Filled them with just Nutella. My girls couldn't wait for the batter to sit in the fridge for that crucial hour! They still came out great!! Thanks for an awesome recipe ☺️...
@@SugarSpunRun These turned out awesome! I also turned these into a crepe cake with strawberry slices between the layers and a whipped cream cheese frosting, it was a huge hit! Thank you so much
This is just what I've been looking for. A recipe for a small amount of crepes. I'm going to try them in a carbon steel pan though. My non stick pans have been retired.
@@SugarSpunRun I did! So did my wife and my mom. Made them last night. We each put several different filling in them. They were delicious. I had a leftover one this morning with ham and cheese. Thanks again for the recipe.
I was looking for a recipe for banana custard pie and yours turned out great! Always wanted to try making crepes, so will definitely try your recipe. Thanks! (Mrs.Rugby)
Was the water added at some point? I dont want to add it if not needed. I see 1/4 c of water on the recipe, but not in the video. They look delicious btw. Thank you
When I tried this recipe it tasted like McDonald’s pankackes But I’m not mad lol I love this try this recipe it looked just like a pancake but flatter it was DELICIOUS 😋
I ❤ Crepes!!! just got came back from out of The Country and crepes are their only pancakes. They eat them with Honey.I will never go back to a Fat Pancake again..🤣
I don’t recommend using all water. You really need the fat from the milk here for flavor and texture. I think they could still turn out if you use water but they will definitely be bland and maybe even a little rubbery
So, you could skip the rest time, but I really recommend waiting at least 30 minutes before making your crepes. Resting allows any bubbles in the batter to escape and gives the gluten time to relax. Our ingredients (namely our flour and our liquids) have time to fully meld together, resulting in more tender (and non-rubbery) crepes that are less likely to tear when you’re turning them
Hello! In the video you said you used 1 1/14 cup of milk, but in the ingredients description it’s says 1 cup of milk and 1/4 of water. Would it work either way ?
Why do you pronounce it as if it is creepy? The vowel sounds like in ¨there, their, where. You also don't pronounce the s. It sounds funny if you say that you would like a creep. (creepo). As usual in the USA, your creeps seem creepily thick. They should not resemble big pancakes.
@@SugarSpunRunTaking people who use a pseudonym seriously is a waste of time. You proved it by posing a redundant question. I think it shows ignorance and/or arrogance if someone makes a video of how to prepare a foreign dish, without even knowing how to pronounce the name.
It tastes so good it might be long but it tastes amazing and patience is key if you do the instructions right it will taste amazing. Tho I would rather wait and get an amazing crepe than just being impatient and end up with a bad crepe. (Just like what Pakistan Cricket said)

HUGE THUMBS UP for mentioning the temperature to cook them at. Other tutorials make it seem like it is illegal to tell us what heat is required.
Glad it's helpful! 😊
Thank you for keeping it short and easy. I've struggled with this ever since Bob evans stopped serving them. . Thanks!!!!
You're welcome! I hope you love them! :)

Hi Sugar Spun Run, the strawberry and Nutella in crepes reminds me of strawberry and chocolate shortcakes.
Yummm it's so tasty! :)
Thanks for sharing this recipe. Now I can use my strawberry rhubarb jam for my filling. God bless.
Sounds delicious! Enjoy! 😊

Do you prefer blender or hand mix? And how many crepes does this recipe make?
Blender for sure. It will make about 12 eight inch crepes. :)
Wow I love this
They're so good!
If I am using a 9 inch pan can I use 1/3 cup of batter per crepe?
I'm going to give it a try!!!
I hope you love it! :)
I don't have vanilla extract but can I use almond extract?
You will want to use significantly less almond extract as it is much more potent. :)
@@SugarSpunRun ok thank 😊 u

I just ran out of whole milk but I do have almond milk, would it be fine and still work if I use almond milk instead of whole milk?
I think that will work. 😊
Can u use water instead of milk
I don’t recommend using all water. You really need the fat from the milk here for flavor and texture. I think they could still turn out if you use water but they will definitely be bland and maybe even a little rubbery
،perfect💕
Do we need to wait an hour after making the batter or is it optional

@@SugarSpunRun oh alright, I was just asking because I’m getting assessed at school to make these and I only have 45 minutes, thankyou for helping
Can you use oil instead of butter at the end?
For brushing the pan? Absolutely. 😊
👍
Hello! In the video you said you used 1 1/14 cup of milk, but in the ingredients description it’s says 1 cup of milk and 1/4 of water. Would it work either way ?
Yes it works either way. I prefer it with the water. 😊
Thank you! I will be trying these today 😊
I hope you love them!
A cast iron works well.
Is it ok just to use milk without water
For best results I wouldn’t recommend it.
What fire set?? You missed that
What?
❤❤❤❤❤✨✨✨
Better not waste any butter hehe
🤣
when she brought out the icecream scoop.. i had to see the comments.. i saw nothing.. then its okae..

Camera should be on food not on the cook.
Got it boss!
Please look up how to pronounce Crepe
This is how we say it in America 🙂
Why do you pronounce it as if it is creepy? The vowel sounds like in ¨there, their, where. You also don't pronounce the s. It sounds funny if you say that you would like a creep. (creepo). As usual in the USA, your creeps seem creepily thick. They should not resemble big pancakes.

🤦🏼♀️
yeah, what a waste of time..there are other recipes for crepes that you dont have to let the batter rest....I will pass on this recipe
I bet they aren’t as good either. Have a great day!
I would rather wait and get a better crepe then being impatient and get a worse one
