[ Detroit Become Human ] We Are Alive - Markus SPEEDPAINT

Hey guys! Sorry for just disappearing for a few months like that! School and life has been kicking my butt, and I can’t find time to make a consistent schedule to save my life, but here’s a speedpaint! Yay! A few months ago I started to get obsessed with the game Detroit Become Human. I love the storytelling and how your choices can affect the result of the game. I like having consequences to your actions and the messages in the game...it was just amazing. I’ve been wanting to make a speedpaint for ages of Markus, and here it is! From the beginning his story just really resonated with me. Being an artist myself I kinda empathized with Markus and Carl. Even though my favorite characters are Hank and Connor I found Markus’s storyline incredibly enjoyable. I hope my drawing is able to do him justice. He really deserves more love in this fandom. This will definitely be something I sell as a print in conventions in the future. I am super proud of the colors and anatomy and everything in this piece. Istg every single drawing I make I improve so much lol. Anyways, I plan on making an animatic of this game soon and I’ll PROBABLY release it during Thanksgiving break. I don’t know for sure because school has been really tough. Junior year is full of tests and a lot of important crap that I have to do to apply for college. I also need to start building a portfolio because I want to try to get into an art school...hopefully.
