I'm a cnc programmer and I can say that it's definitely well made and worth $2,000. It's amazing 😳
Same here
No It's not worth $2,000. Maximum $200
id agree i can cnc that in my sleep
It's a puzzle. It's not worth 2000 dollars. Only an idiot would spend that much and the parts are worth 40 bucks. A good machinist could do that in a day
You haven't seen Clickspring's videos have you?
$2000 prototype:
Mr. Puzzle: *bangs it on table*
Whatever is required! :D
That was my thought, but has to be done :)
Who decided its worth 2000$ tho... the creator?
8SH0CK8 I initially wondered the same thing, but then realized that he is saying it cost $2000 to manufacture this first prototype of the puzzle. Prototyping & one off production of prototypes is very expensive - all that tooling/labour for only one sample product.
Once the design is finalized to incorporate any minor modifications, the individual cost per piece on a production run to produce retail stock should be significantly less expensive.
If the production run pieces are manufactured to equally fine tolerances & with a similar finish, this still certainly won’t be a cheap puzzle, but it shouldn’t approach $2000.
mercurial L Exactly.
Very low tolerance, one off machining is VERY expensive.
The way he stepped away from the table to shout YES when he solved it gave me life
This puzzle had to have been designed by a team of Mercedes-Benz engineers. It's hellishly expensive, mechanically over-designed, exquisitely machined and it takes 6 hours to get to the one part that needs to be serviced every 50,000 km.
:D
Too good of a comment 😂
And serves no critical purpose whatsoever.
Wow to true
@Bat 22-
That is a good comment, lol.
Grammar-Perfect, (and I'm not sure if I'm a Grammar Nasty, lol. < like how I phrased that.!? Lol. Got it from a friend, lol).
Looks nice though, (I don't often see things put together so well, lol, the Puzzle/Machine/Machining, too lol).
Cheers (to @MR PUZZLE too lol) 😂🍺👍☕😉
I absolutely LOVE when he busts out the graph paper.
-Sh*t just got REAL! lol
hehe! :)
it really is great to see him sketch out his ideas of a puzzles internal workings
That part is so HOT. I love paper! 📖 📚 😘
15:16 never have I ever seen Mr.Puzzle so happy for something
Could be worse, at least it didn't require a blood sacrifice, just table damage
😂
LOL
As I was watching this the first thing that went through my mind was that "horrible contraption" came straight out of the "SAW" movie franchaise that's just waiting to torture a poor soul 😈
"Let the Games Begin..." 💀
I love watching your perseverence through extremely difficult problems, it's inspiring in my own life
Out of all the puzzles in the world, Mr. Puzzle chose to manufacture the one which he frustratedly banged on and damaged his table. Poetic :)
🤗
"2020 will be very interesting" Little did he know...
:p
Was just thinking the same.
Every puzzle gangsta until he says "aight, lemme just grab a piece of paper"
“Yes, yes.... Do you see this?!..... YES, YEEEEEEEEEESSSS!”
Pure joy!
First it damages your table then it damages your sanity. This has to be one of the funniest and certainly one of the most interesting puzzle videos you've ever made!
That was one of the most satisfying puzzle solves, it really pushes to the limit of some of the hardest to discern puzzle tropes. Like internal pins you can’t see is already tough. Making it magnetic? Diabolical. Everybody loves the spin move. The red herring buttons. Just... bless.
Even I said YEES when he found the solution
Brah MR. Puzzle has been on this platform for years and still is as entertaining as day one videos thanks MR. P
Lol I just love how excited he gets when he solves a puzzle there's just something adorable about it xD
To the puzzle creator: Great job! If you decide to produce it in larger quantities, I suggest to keep the look and feel "precision crafted heavy metal object". I think that's the main part of the charm of it.
Well done Mr P. I swear I was even with you when you was shouting “yes”. Congrats again...
😁👍
This masterpiece of overengineering is probably the most German puzzle in existence. Very fitting.
Saw the intro, so hyped! Have a good 2020, love this channel
Thanks a lot! Happy 2020!
"yes...Yes...YES!!!" I always love hearing his joy :)
Please mass produce that puzzle, I would love to have one! Amazing!!
It's really a joy to see your enthusiasm finding out every step of the solution :D
What a lovely puzzle. The machining is just top-notch. Thanks for solving and sharing!
Intro tune: ua-cam.com/video/UzUAANu59-s/v-deo.html
Reminds me of a magswitch T20. An air operated magnet for industrial applications.
Awsome puzzle
Alter!!!! Ich bin erstaunt, wie du das alles machst....
I have very little interest in solving these kinds of puzzles, but _your_ passion for puzzles makes these videos very entertaining. It was probably as thrilling for me to watch you solve this one as it was for you to solve it. Thank you for sharing :-)
Thanks! Mission accomplished! :D
Definitely one of the cooler looking puzzles ive seen. I love the steel and brass look.
Honestly this made me excited watching this and I may start getting into these puzzles. Beautiful puzzle by the way.
I am honestly proud of you for doing this puzzle. That was really difficult. Great video as always!
Congrats Mr Puzzle. It's nice to see the 5/5 puzzles now and then. :)
What a joy, glorious to watch, beautiful design.
What an amazing puzzle! I hope he creates many more!
I think if I wanted to teach myself to use a modern, 3-D cad tool, designing these things would really be educational.
This one's up there with the Lotus box I love the sequential puzzles they're the best thank you
Just beautiful! Bravo!
looks like all you need is an allen key to solve this
Wow! One of the greatest video's solving puzzles on your channel! 💕
What an amazing puzzle. Both looks and function.
So the two buttons on the side do nothing. Devilish.
when he was done it still looked like there was still more to do ...maybe buttons still have a purpose
I just love your videos MR PUZZLE. I am a student and also love puzzling. I watch your videos for refreshment and entertainment and you've got a great amount of logic. LOVE YOU MR PUZZLE👍👍👏👏👌👌❤❤
Happy new year and much love from Italy!!!
Love the puzzle design and cannot wait to see more! Be sure to let us know when/where these go on sale.
Sure!
This is amazingly good.
I was just as happy as you were when you released the final pin!
While this is definitely a well made puzzle, my biggest issue with it is that unless you know before hand that the solved state is to remove that particular pin, there's no indicator that it's "solved" rather than just another piece being removed. When he said it was solved, I was just confused because it didn't feel any different than any other time he removed a part from it.
Yeap. No "prize" peice...
Yes zero pay off. Might as well take it apart with an Allen key
Love the intro and what an amazing puzzle! Your enthusiasm makes this so much fun to watch.
Wow! That was some puzzle, Mr. P!!
Well done! Fantastic work 👏
This is my kind of puzzle. I love disassembling tricky stuff. I need to get my hands on these kinds of puzzles.
00:37 Surprised -Pickachu- Robot face 🤖
Oh...wie cool ist das denn...
Wow😊Da bin ich mal gespannt!
I have a writing pen with a maze and a small ball bearing in it. I feel pretty satisfied every time I get the ball bearing from one end of the pen to the other... It cost $1 at a dollar store. I don't think I'll be touching a $2,000 puzzle, especially considering that I have a big hammer and a torch. 👍😄
Thanks super entertaining!
Without a doubt, the most pleasing puzzle, in challenge and artistry.
Nice work, Mr Puzzle! Obviously the puzzle still needs a little work, but I enjoyed seeing it. I'd like to see more from this maker.
The enthusiasm and excitement in this video lol
Great vid thank you
That's looks awesome.
Brilliant!
Great job solving it.
Thanks!
love your videos!!! you are sooo much better than other channels
Awesome puzzle great job solving beautiful design
I really enjoyed this one ...it felt like I was participating with you as well !
Very nice craftsmanship and the quality looks perfect.
Whoever the designer is, they have some serious skillz !
Congratulations that was lots of fun
The puzzle is cool. One thing I would do to improve it though would be to paint the target pin a different bright color. (Bright orange, red, etc) In my opinion, the objective isn't obvious enough
Yes! During the video I actually forgot what he was trying to do.
awesome solve!
Beautiful artistry, such satisfying engineering.
Incredible imagination to produce this puzzle!!
10:16 best part, It was so random I couldn't help but laugh XD
Opening production was on point
This is my favorite puzzle so far.
i truly wish there was a camera pointed at your face the second you realized you dinged your table. #priceless great puzzle. 👍😀🩹
Working on my Masters in Education... That will be my 2020. Well done!
Only discovered you through watching Chris Ramsey puzzle solve videos he does mention you in several. Really enjoyed that one just as the sheer excitement in your voice was evident once you had solved the problem. Did the maker decide to release more of these as I would really love to buy one. Keep up the good work
Thanks
I really enjoy these videos where you record the intro after the solve so you can give us your full thoughts on the puzzle before the puzzle break. This way we still get to enjoy your process during the solve itself but we also have a good idea going in what kind of a challenge we will be witnessing. Plus, it gives you time to collect your thoughts so the review portion will be more thorough.
Thanks for the videos, and may 2020 bring many new challenging yet satisfying puzzles your way. :)
Thanks!
Stepped his game up in the intros I see!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍
This is the best vlog by far.
I love it!! Was so interesting. I love it when you get frustrated...lol. 5+ hours. Fantastic...!!!! 😉😉
Brilliant Puzzle, Brilliant Puzzling!
This was so pure and wholesome I love it hahaha
Amazing solution.
That very distant 'yes!..WooooHooo . was Mr Puzzle jumping off a bridge lol.
YESSSS YESSSS YESSSS! you gave me emotion when you solved this
Great work Mr puzzle; brilliant design in this piece of mechanism, wonderful to watch your solution techniques.. Thank you. :)
That is a beautifully designed and machined puzzle - kinda initially looks like a sophisticated sophisticated fidget tool. Your production values and enthusiasm is top notch. I love the methodical way to approach and explain your process.
Brian great intro, love it. Amazing puzzle.
Thanks!
Real Cool
Great puzzle, as a machinist I appreciate the hard work that went into making this piece. I would love to have the blueprints. It would be a great training project for tool and dye learning programs.
You said it's worth $2000.00. You mean it cost $2000.00... Fascinating non the less. Small, very well built. And of course "you" solved it.... Thank you!
I love the look of that puzzle.
That’s a very nice puzzle, even if it was never solved it looks very interesting.
I love how they say it can’t be solved with random chance, but with some table damage that always seems to happen Keepo
Now that's how you solve a puzzle! Very good.
I was a subscriber back in the day, I then stopped watching. And now I'm comin back and man the step up in quality is shocking. What an intro, nice music pick, loved it ! Cheers from France
Faszinating puzzle. Looks like a part lost by the space station....
...and it's fun to watch your exitement.
The only thing is, it looks very unpleasant to handle for your hands with all the metal corners.
It looks amazing, almost Steam-Punk
It definitely looks cool
Good stuff!
that moment around 9:25 would have been a cool idea for a puzzle though. Have a box that needs to be unlocked by some sort of contrived key tool which was originally part of the box. So you do all these moves moving the pieces off the box, you do a bunch of other moves to assemble all the pieces you removed into a tool, then you use the tool to unlock the box.
Already got some ideas :)
Mr. Puzzle predicted the future. "2020 will be interesting" @20:20 :D
@2:31 "I would just like to propose we get it on" I'm dead. Head on the keyboard.
Very entertaining, also.., "2020 will be very interesting". That was an understatement.
