Thanks for this video. Many years ago when I got into "tractor-dom" and own many implements of many brands, my first earth moving implement was a BEFCO 84" grader scraper. It was and still is my favorite. There hasn't been a job where this equipment let me down or didn't leave the project without spectacular results. The man was correct, it built like a D-11 dozer, over 800 lbs, which in my opinion helps it to do its job.
Yeah, I like their company story and all the attachments look well made. Seems like they don’t just repeat everybody else’s design but actually innovate
Yeah, you don’t hear that much about them but they’ve been in business for a long time and they manufacture the products locally I stopped to talk to the salesman because they were one of the only options I found online in terms of flail mowers Thanks for watching
I live in NC, and the dealer I bought my Kioti tractor from tries to keep as many NC-built products in inventory as he can. I bought a 65" wide BEFCO tiller from him and I couldn't be happier with it. It does a great job and really does feel like it has been built for the long haul.
That mower you were looking at and talking to the rep about we just bought one where I work to use on our brand new 2038R.. we bought it to maintain our ball fields, football fields, and we also have a 50 acre field behind the school district that’s just grass where this mower will be primarily maintaining the grass. I havnt used it yet as it’s still snowing here but as soon as the Kane Drys up And I can get out there with it I’ll let you know how I like it. We bought it to replace our 2013 John Deere Turbo series 2 large area mower as all it ever did was get stuck in the mud out there and mowed like crap. Hoping pulling this mower behind our new 2038r will do a better job for us this season. Great content as always 👍🏻
BEFCO, love the name, it looks like quality equipment. I have used a flail mower, hardly ever see one. The one I used was pretty noisy, but it made a beautiful cut.
After watching this video, I wondered if you were still thinking of buying a BEFCO Flail mower? I don't have any stocking dealers in NY state. I have sent BEFCO a request for more information. I wondered if you could give me an idea if you know how their prices on their flail mowers compare to those of the seemingly popular Italian products like the Del Morino and such.
Flailmower is the next thing I want to get but I do not have pricing information and I don’t think it’s on their website. They primarily sell through dealers and that’s why they don’t promote their pricing as much on the website. I’m in the same place of debating between a Besco and a Maschio Still doing my research but as soon as I settle on one I’ll be sharing it on the channel
Just wait until you need spare parts….the gearbox on my five foot Befco imploded and Befco only wants $1100 and shipping for a replacement. They don’t want to sell parts, just new tillers!

Same here. I’ve never heard of them. A big name for equipment in the Carolinas is Hardee.
Befco is better quality than Hardee

Never heard of BEFCO. Looks like really nice stuff. How were their prices compared to the big name brands??
They primarily sell through dealerships so they don’t have all their prices listed. Probably varies by dealer
