i just started going to a food bank in NJ about a year ago and I really appreciate everything they give me...I thank all the stores and people who donate towards these food banks in order to help people in need...Thank you
That's a nice food haul. I went this morning and got my food box for seniors. Then I went to a church where they take you through and let you pick what you want. I got cereal, drinks and snacks. Plus some deodorant, shower gel, toothpaste and ibuprofen. It really helps to supplement my grocery bill.
Wow! What an amazing haul. Last time I visited ours, we got so many veggies from the local churches garden. I have never gotten more than one dozen eggs or one choice of protein. Blessed 🙌 ✨️🫵♥️
We volunteer at the local food bank. It is very rewarding work. It is lots of work. Many things go on behind scenes . My DH and I order the food and go to city and pick it up. Then have to purchase the hygiene products. So glad you have this pantry available to you. Blessings
My Daughter in law does all the paper work and fills the forms to request the money from different sources to get the financial help for 2 food banks in Pittsburgh . She has the kindest heart .I love that girl.
Im glad people are posting food bank hauls on youtube. I hope people that need the help but are embarrassed see them and get the help they need. Its a shame that theres such a big stigma against asking for help when you need it.
The rich have no problems asking for help when they need it. They don't even ask, they demand it, and our politicians do their bidding every time. How many bailouts has this been now? Point is: yes, don't be ashamed. We all need help sometimes. I was on food stamps for a couple of years and now I have a career where I am able to give back and donate to these food banks. I love watching these hauls because I know my money is going to a good cause.
Wow! You got a pretty good bunch of stuff. Lamb! Didn't know you could get that at a food bank. Hope it makes a great meal. I recognized quite a few Aldi brands in your haul. Glad to know they donate. I really like their stores.
Brother Dale, I'm going back and looking at these classic episodes. Always enjoy the food pantry. Do you like your minivan? I was thinking about the Chrysler Pacifica or Town and Country minivans if I can find one at a reasonable price, under 90K and still running good. It's just the wife and I here in Virginia. And the cats. Our dogs grew old and passed away a few years ago. We want another dog, but it took us awhile getting over the loss of our beloved pups. I've owned pickups and SUV's over the years, but being disabled I figured a minivan was lower to the ground and still could carry our stuff. I worry about the minivan engines and transmissions if they are as strong as the SUV's. God Bless. Mark
Mine is a Chrysler Town & Country , Dodge Caravan same thing . Engines , Trannys last forever . Mine has 170,000 on runs like new! I love it . Do miss my 4x4 Sonoma at times but this Van is perfect for me !! Thanks for Watching and Commenting!!😃😺
Wow your food bank doesn’t give much. Ours is like shopping in a store, you take a cart, walk around all the shelves and take what you want based on how many in family . Like 4 cans tomato sauce for a family of 4 one can per member. But meat is limited to 2 pounds for a family of 4 for a month.
When I was going here in Canada when my kids were little we did NOT get to choose what we wanted. We had to take what they put in a box and there was never any meat. The workers took all the meat and anything else they wanted before boxing up for the people that really need it.
I go to food bank, I'm here in California and I'm telling you when you go there, you park and they load your car full of food is a really good food bank. I don't know where you're from. But I'm here in California. And they give a lot of food the 3rd Saturday of every month.
@@PrepperDale Hello. I'm in Southeastern PA, but originally from Sunbury area (I guess that is north central PA?). I tried to volunteer at our local small food bank close to me, but they put me on a wait list as they have too many volunteers right now. I try to donate when I can, and their website says what they need the most. Anyway, I'm glad you are able to get some items you need at your food bank. Take care.
It's always good to be early, I know the one I go to I'm always early,I'll sit an wait for an hour cuz the place gets packed and the line goes up the highway
I donate to a local church, small food pantry outside of the church. I’ll bring food and other stuff like toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, etc. but I only know of one wish they had more I would donate more.
See if there is one in your area and Call. Some of them have Delivery to your Home . This one I go to Does. Thanks for Watching and Commenting!🥶😺😃Prayers !!
I know what your saying but some of those expensive car owners are bring less fortunate folks there . Folks who need food but cant drive or dont have transportation. Thanks for watching!!
@@PrepperDale So true ! And a lot of people with expensive cars have lost their jobs . Never judge , because you never know if they are about to lose that expensive car . God bless you . 😇🙏
Don't assume. I drive a friend of mine who does not have a car and is in her mid 60's. She has no family and lives alone. She gets food from the food pantry so she can pay her utilities. Other wise she would be starving. Once every 3 weeks she can go by appointment. She gets 3 boxes of various foods and a bag of frozen veggies, frozen chicken, and a frozen piece of cod for a meal.
What makes me upset is the people that go to these food banks that do NOT need to be there. The town I live in when I go to donate I leave shocked because of the people getting free clothing, food even gas cards... WTH!! A friend of mine even asked the manager what the heck is going on... as we figured she gave a run around answer...
Sounds like you’re looking at maybe someone’s car or if they have nice clean cloths on and clean hair that they are not in need. Sorry, but I know one friend of mine that I paid to get her nails done for her for her birthday because she was so depressed and her self esteem was shot. Do you know when she went to the food bank the next day they commented on her nice nails and asked her how much it cost her and why she was going to the food bank. Keep your focus on why you gave in the first place or don’t bother. Another story … the guy was driving a Cadillac or some nice fancy car that was very expensive. It happened to be his fathers and the guy that was driving it had cancer so when he got “checked” by a volunteer he literally felt like he had to go into all his past of what led him to that pantry that day. Screw that. The people that volunteer that are nasty will act like it’s their food and have no business being there to help others. Most people that donate their time or food, money etc are extremely fair and kind to everyone regardless.
@@Cojocarilori wow, all this said when YOU don't even live in this town, I was writing on, but, this is my fault for not expressing that... so, move on with this car how their are dressed etc B.S.... but, everyone has their writing finger to write their views... Take Care

What age do they consider a senior to be?
@@sunniertimer598Not sure on that ????
No one should feel ashamed to go to the food bank… they are for people who just need some extra help!!
Also, nobody should judge as we don't know what people's circumstances are.
no shame whatsoever except maybe making you tube videos about your free haul....that's a little bit over the top....
That was a good Food Bank Haul Have a blessed Thanksgiving

They are pretty generous here! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Something new every time you go brother it really helps me out
This looks like a nice basket of food! That's awesome.
What a great haul.
I live in Ontario and can go once a week. Had a late time so meat or bread but got other staples.
No meat or bread
Left no out
That's an awesome haul! I'd be interested in seeing what you did with the lamb.
Yeah , Im not sure yet . Probably put in the instant pot and see what happens. Thanks
