Ahmedabad #Dholera Expressway is a 109 km (68 mi) long, four-lane wide (expandable to eight) access-controlled under-construction expressway in Gujarat, India. It will connect Sardar Patel Ring Road near Sarkhej in Ahmedabad with Adhelai village in Bhavnagar district via Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR). The proposed Dholera International Airport near Navagam, about 20 km (12 mi) from Dholera SIR will also lie in the route.
The Ahmedabad Dholera greenfield expressway is a part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and is expected to be ready by March 2024

@@ravinunna1168 It's surrounding industrial park that you should watch. The companies will come overnight. Understand that this is the main area for IMEC and I2U2.
Basic infra takes its own time. Only afterwards do you see the boom of the private infra.

This is Rahulji's achievement. When Rahulji was jogging in his dreams he noticed there was no footpath in Gujarat. Instead of building a footpath he planned on building a entire expressway. Rahulji was planning to build this expressway when he went to Thailand. He dreamed about it, thought about it, wondered about it, nagged about it, whined about it, bitched about it, and finally thought about executing it. Vadraji was ready to give the land but Priyankaji threatened Vadraji with divorce if he did so. That is why Rahulji could not execute this project. Finally when Rahulji woke up after his dream, he went to shave his beard and take a shower.
Congress thought it, planned it but BJP did it... this applies to most of the infrastructure as well

I hope for the city they have hired the best city/urban planning company from abroad. India has 2.35 B people but zero town/city planning people, except for totally useless ones. It is horrible that these people have fancy degrees but are totally useless.
Look China had the same problem. So China hired Singapore to replan and redeveloped 2 cities. China made sure Chinese firms worked very closely to learn from Singapore. This resulted in rhe amazing well planned cities of Souzho and Wujiang. After that China had the expertise to themselves replan and redevelop 150 cities and towns. Now Chinese companies are working ( and earning money) by planning and redeveloping cities in 25 countries !

It's the only way to make cities appear less crowded and free from traffic. ..Good luck for Dholera but doubtful about this project as it's in low lying area and not feasible for industrialization. Since last 10 yrs no significant progress is seen, the artificial lake looks like a picnic spot, only one tiny skyscraper ABCD building is visible from distance... Investing too much on a barren land without proper study will result in huge loss of tax payers money. They are already building another green field city Gift in close proximity and Dream City is also in making in same state.....So to develop this place Dholera will be a herculean task... Instead of choosing Gujarat for everything, Govt should invest more on under developed states like Odisha ,Bihar, which are getting poorer and suffering brain drain despite having rich minerals stocks and located on well connected mainland India . Odisha is also having plenty of beaches , it has the potential of becoming next Goa. So many things can be done ....These two states are the perfect locations for Green field cities.

Brother, there was an error in the previous video due to which we have deleted it and re-edited it and uploaded it.
I don’t see much development happening anymore. I used to see labours last year now I don’t even see them. The side walks haven’t been completed yet nor the roads and the already built sidewalks and roads aren’t being kept cleaned and maintained.
By now we should’ve completed the 25sqkm already we started in 2017, it’s about to be 7 years and it’s still not finished, and we have like 475sqkm more to go which is said to be completed by 2040. Like how will we ever complete that if we can’t even finish this 25sqkm in 7 years?
The reason why we are behind so many countries is because we take forever to do anything, by now china would’ve completed this projects and you would’ve seen half the land filled with buildings and stuff, and we aren’t even close to that.
Plus this expressway is supposed to be completed by next year, how will it complete in 1 years when literally more then 50% of the work is still not done? China would’ve made this in 2 years, likely completed it by now too. It’s sad how slow we are.
IMEC and I2U2. Study what that is and you will understand why Dholera will be booming like no other city.

@@goofy9448 IMEC is the Asia to Europe corridor. In India, the ports on the Gulf of Kutch and Gulf of Khambhat to Fujairah (UAE), then Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel and finally Europe and possibly the east coast of the US. There will be massive traffic going through these gulfs. Dholera is sitting on the Gulf Khambhat and is a short drive from the Gulf of Kutch. No other city in that region has the ready infra like Dholera. It is a plug and play arrangement for industries. I2U2 works similarly between India, UAE and Israel. Once again, the same ports of Khambhat and Kutch will be most important. And Dholera will be ready for it.
@@AO-xd2ml I do remember they wanted to build a port near by dholera but I thought it was cancelled by the government. Did they restart the project?
I know they also talked about a bullet train to UAE and stuff but I doubt that would ever become reality, our project which is 500km is costing us 20billion dollars something like that would be over 100billion I doubt any country can afford to build such project and make profit from it.
@@goofy9448 Dholera will be using the Pipavav Port near Bhavnagar and it is getting a huge upgrade. We don't cover port news much, but that one will be the #1 CNG port in the country. Pipavav Port can be accessed within 1 hour or so by rail from Dholera.
There will be a bullet cruise ship Gulf of Kutch to UAE, not a bullet train. Dubai Ports World has bought rights to a port near Kandla on the Gulf of Kutch. From the Kandla/Mundra/Jamnagar/Jakhau to UAE in a speed ship is only a 12 hour ride. Watch for the speed ship coming soon. They will connect Dholera to these ports, for quick access. You can read about the speed ships, they operate them in Australia.
