I remember my great aunt Jean made the BEST pizzelle I've ever had. When I was a teen she was already this tiny little old lady, but she was the kindest, most generous soul. Thanks for the video G, it was very entertaining. Paul in Firenze
As Silesian (part of Poland) i have same ,,glass-window'' cabinet with my parents' china set. Also older generations have many of religious figures or paintings. My father sometimes make own pasta on sundays. We keep boxes from used f.e ice creams and put herbs there in fridge😅We have a lot of common things!
I just recently received an Italian horn from my mother, I usually wear my St. Christopher medal but ive been wearing my italian horn and I love it. ❤ and I also have a few of the religious items set out. Prayer candles and a couple crosses. Im very proud of my Italian heritage 😊❤
Fun fact: the Italian (or rather Neapolitan) "horns" come from an ancient Roman custom which considered it auspicious to keep a phallic symbol in the house, but during the Middle Ages it was considered vulgar and was changed to a less explicit form.
The unused china cabinet is so true. You never use that chinaware - and I mean NEVER! You also have few figurines and other unusable things. We had the ashtray wedding favor from my aunt's wedding in 1964!
100% accurate. The 8 foot wooden cabinet with glass windows. “That’s where we keep the good China plates and the good silverware.” (Actual silver) It is just “on display”, until Christmas and Easter. GOD help you, if you attempt to put any of it, in the dishwasher.
The fridge in the garage is definitely my family! And the containers we use are ricotta cheese containers 🤣
The only other time the China came out was to celebrate the day the plastic covers came off the sofa and love seat.

Yes to all!! Glad you represent. We don't have most of these things. But my parents did. Also - only Tupperware or glass with covers for us.
You will never know what is in the cool wip container 😅
Happy holidays! 😀

The fridge for sure. Growing up my family had one in the kitchen and one in the basement.
