I'm definitely preordering the premium bundle. Don't have to, but From Software has always put a lot of care into their ips. Even with DS2 and DS3's admittedly lackluster 1st dlc, they're still worth supporting. Some stuff I see like movesets in the trailer looks like stuff from DS3 and Sekiro, which I kinda wanna see you try. I really want to see you try Sekiro, and especially OG PS3 Demon's Souls one day. Also, the fact it's similar to Limgrave, but a quarter bigger is great. Limgrave is the best designed area, so I'm especially hyped for the new area. I feel it'll be like the Ringed City dlc in quality terms but with Limgrave's intricate design and ER vibes.
7:30 Speculating, but I'm not sure if he's related to Marika because the new place is most likely gonna be either in the past (or possible alternate future? Which they haven't done yet!), or a distorted version of the world. He definitely could be though so I'm not ruling it out. This guy has red hair, and Radagon has red hair. Maybe Radagon had a child with Lady Tanith and this guy was sent to this distorted world as a secret. I strongly believe this dlc will center around Lady Tanith and Volcano Manor. Remember they kinda separated and isolated themselves to go against everything the Erdtree represents. Also, there's the lava dungeon, he has fire like attacks, and there's a red snake. We still don't know where the blasphemous snake that Rykard met came from. And we don't know where Chaos comes from either, just that it's existed in the world for a long time. I have a weird theory that Shadow of the Erdtree will be about this distant noble, the red haired guy, who's in relation with Rykard, Lady Tanith, Marika, Godwyn, etc, and him trying to conquer the Erdtree or something while Miquella asks you, the player, to help him stop the red hair guy, reminiscent of DS3's 2 dlcs. Also, there's an ending for all of the factions EXCEPT for the Volcano Manor faction. This might be me wishfully thinking since Volcano Manor is my favorite area, but I feel this has to be connected to Volcano Manor, or a distorted version of them succeeding in their rejection of the Erdtree or something. There's also the Chaos Ending with Melina's purple eye that hasn't been answered too. Lot's to speculate on, it's really interesting!
I would be down to see the volcano manor faction get some love in the DLC. A theory that piqued my interest is that messmer is a representation of Miquella being influenced by other factions (like the Volcano Manor)…. Thoughts?
Ngl that sounds sick. That theory gives me Bloodbourne dlc and DS3 dlc vibes. I was also thinking it could be a Marika/Radagon thing where there's 2 different beings that share one body. Like maybe Miquella and Messmer shared the same body, but Messmer was separated and sent into the dlc realm.
All of dark souls has the biggest amount of Berserk references all the souls games also reference ultra series as well but everyone in their mother takes inspiration from that sekiro dose give yoshikawa musashi reference
Just for clarification; no, Itzu did NOT get paid with a bite of kibble. He did not get paid whatsoever.
