Joseph Kony's former wife shares her new book "I am Evelyn Amony"

- As the international hunt continues for Lord's Resistance Army Commander Joseph Kony, one of his former captors and bush wives is sharing her story in a new book. "I AM EVELYN AMONY" tells the story of one of Kony's 27 wives and the mother of three of his children born during her more than a decade inside the rebel group after being abducted at the age of 11. Evelyn managed to escape with two of her children in 2005 and has since started the Women's Advocacy Network comprised of over 400 formerly abducted war-affected women who advocate for gender justice in Uganda. She sat down with the SABC's Sherwin Bryce-Pease in New York on a recent visit there to promote the book.

My Auntie was abducted and went through the same things. We haven’t heard from her for over 15years.

Some leads dreamers to suffer for and in their life ,do not believe that Lanny himself needs abreathing space, but the world turned into another neck he can't see his relatives, schoolmates and even own aproperty ends up similar like awarlof 🐕.

@@lutwamaeric4646 nonsense, at least Kony had the cojones to try to fight for freedom, we luos are not afraid to fight when we feel something is not right, now look, heading to 40+ years u have the president your people once loved, and now u hate him but don't have the cojones to overthrow, cowards. Besides, I personally don't believe Kony would kill his own tribe, someone else did it to prevent an uprising.

@@byttlejuice145 Small picture is the biggest problem of Africans including many Ugandans.We should be talking of innovations and inventions not wars.Actually if it were possible African govts would do partnerships and have common armies for key issues.If all you are proud of is the ability of Luos to do war,then you are meant to fail this continent.Presidency is not a top priority issue for my tribesmates,we are instead looking for better education,economic emancipation and the like.Our interest is for us to have space to solve our own problems and the rest of you can fight for presidency as you have failed to look at the bigger picture.
