They hook them with love first by “love bombing” to earn their trust.
Same thing with the CIA guys getting stuck abroad and needing money for a ticket home. How is the CIA still a thing when they can't provide basic transport for employees lol
I think that sadly the reason these women can get victimized all can be drawn from loneliness and zero self esteem. I say they deserve to get got cause she was reaching for a man who in other circumstances she knows wouldn't consider her more than a granny type figure . I say she knows it cause why not go out and try to meet a local man her age and in her range as far as looks
@@tinejensen8309 I sometimes wonder if these scammers deliberately make up the silliest story they can think of, just to see what they can get away with. Who buys this kind of nonsense? It's beyond me.
I know it is hard to understand but that is actually part of the manipulation. Nice then nasty then nice again. It's a tactic used by abusers to de stabilize the victim and confuse them. It's part of the grooming. The victim will try harder to please the abuser so they will be nice again. It's twisted but it does work. Cult leaders also do this and pedoph***s.
Easy way to find the professional victims. Most people would tell someone to go swivel if they were spoken to like that but if you're still hanging on they know they have a keeper.
You underestimate how skilful scammers are. They adapt their approach according to the personality of the victim. This unfortunate woman reacted best to rude demands.
Its unhealthy and painful enough to be in a relationship with an abusive partner. Why anyone would allow themselves to be "cyber-abused" is beyond my comprehension.
My friend had a long-distance relationship with a man in Japan she met him in person and everything but he was so controlling and verbally abusive towards her! If she didn't send a selfie where she was at all times when he was home in Japan, her bf would start calling her names and saying she's cheating and BS. Idk how she allowed a man on the other side of the world to control her.....I really hope she left and blocked his ass by now
This is one of the most shocking cases of catfishing and one of the most clueless victims I have ever seen. He literally starts demanding her money just a month after they started talking, and somehow she never saw a red flag in that, she just kept going, playing his games, meeting all his demands. She literally had to make up lies, excuses, and schemes to handle the situation, but it never crossed her mind to stop for a second and think that it should be him giving her all sorts of justifications as to why he was demanding her money, not her explaining herself to him. It's just mind-blowing, I will never get this either. She was actually even thinking she might owe him an apology. It's like Stockholm's Syndrome on steroids.
Ta ridiculous I hope she never raised any children. They hide behind “loneliness “ and that’s bullsh*t 🤦🏽♀️. Something is seriously wrong with some of these people.
He wanted her to take out equity in her home. Drain her bank account. Send him her paycheck. Be late for work to send him money, and told her she wouldn’t get fired. Mutual funds. On her 50th birthday. That’s a keeper!
Exactly. The food questions are also common red flags -- _"What did you eat for breakfast?"_ and _"Have you eaten today?"_ and _"What are you making for dinner?"_ As an American I know we have a reputation for being fat and always eating; so people in many other countries are fascinated with our food choices. I can't imagine an American guy asking me about breakfast more than once, because -- like this woman -- I never eat breakfast.
She, and other people in these videos, received EXACTLY what they paid for. That's why they keep going back. A comfortable fantasy. A boyfriend/girlfriend experience.
Right? Can you imagine sitting on the bus "have you eaten my Queen? Send me $1300 for rent or we can't talk anymore" or something? That's about the gist of it
Text: "I'm going to need to come up with $10,000"; correct response: "Good luck with that." Text: "I don't understand why it's so hard for you to do what I tell you. You're going to have to send me more money now...."; correct response: "Screw you." Text: "Kristina you need to send me the money or I'm going to be pissed"; correct response: block the POS.
Something that really bothers me with so many of these scammers and victims, is when the victim says they don't have money to send, the scammer gets really nasty and threatening, and the victims are just like 'oh this is fine, they are still this amazing person that I think I'm in a relationship with'. If any of these relationships were actually real, these victims are absolutely okay with being straight up abused, and that is seriously concerning. I have seen countless romance scam victims show messages (and scambaiters are showing the same kind of messages, so it happens across the board with romance scammers) where the victim says they are literally broke, and the scammer says oh you're lying, you are so awful, you don't really love me, ect ect'. So these scam victims would still marry and spend their lives with someone who spoke to them this way frequently. It just adds a whole new level of awfulness to the whole scammer/victim dynamic, but also makes me wonder what these people would put up with in a real relationship.
Even if I know the person, personally...it's none of their business how much $$$ I have....bring up $$$...and thats the quickest way to end my friendship !
you are right but I think there's also a degree of desperation on the victims' end... some of them have never had a relationship or haven't in a long time, so they'll do anything to have some form of a relationship
Or to any man, regardless. He's supposed to do nice things for you. There's a reason for this cultural norm, to help women weed out the weak, insolvent men who will not be good providers for their future family.
This woman continued to send him money despite the fact that he is not only a complete stranger, the attitude and tone he gave her when he asked for money, like 'it's my money, send them to me now'. I would never let family members or friends talk to me that way, especially if they are asking for my money that I worked hard for. It's CRAZY!
I'll never get over these women sending strangers money and believing these immature stories. These are mature women! They're raising kids or have raised them.
That he asked everyday what she had for breakfast, even if she said she never eat breakfast, is such a clear sign that they just follow like a standardized script saying the same things to a number of people. Like At x time, say good morning to client a, b, c, d, e, f and ask what they had for breakfast. Perhaps they even have a bot that sends out that message at a certain time. Them asking for favorite color, flowers, birthdays etc could be a way to find out as much about the person to get to their accounts and passwords. Never tell people you don't know your mother's maiden name, your first teachers name, your dad's middle name, first pet's name or things like that, even if it could seem like innocent questions. (And of course... goes without saying, never use your pet's name, or your kid's birthdays as your passwords...)
You hit the nail on the head! The breakfast question is possibly the most obvious way of knowing that you're talking to a scammer. There usually are so many of them working together to release you of your hard earned $$. If you hear "How was your breakfast dear"? Run, and run fast! Lol 😋
@@KimberlyHolland0205 My friend was scammed recently and she said he always asked what she had for breakfast....I said I thought it was odd - then I realised that obviously he was reading from a script every day. I hope they all rot and burn in hell

I love scambaiting the scammers. I have fake name, an email for junk and a VPN. I love building them up just to tell them NO when they ask for money. It is satisfying. I love when they say “you are so hard on me!” I love to make them dread every moment of talking to me but unable to stop thinking they may get money.

What shook me so much was that she thought she might owe this horrible person an apology..the abusive things these guys say seems Not to put them off in anyway..Never be sorry for not sending money.
Him asking her everyday what she had for breakfast even after her telling him she doesn’t eat breakfast is more of a red flag that he’s not paying any attention, not a sweet gesture.
These guys go from super sweet to rude and forward overnight. Doesn't this scream red flag to them? I would never continue talking to someone that spoke to me that way!
Right? Let’s say it’s that rare case where they are legit and just broke. You speak to me like that even once and I’m gone. Like “but he/she might be real!” And? They’re still abusive. Fuck em
Happens irl too. Abusers luring partners by love bombing then eventually turning into domestic violence, let alone just rude. Don't want to read too much into a back story that we don't know, but I suspect she's got some history. Unfortunately the abused tend to have a pattern of seeking validation and attracting further abusers...
What I will never understand is why these people send money to someone who is openly demanding and abusive. Even if they weren't getting scammed, why would you stay with someone like that? That's just absolutely insane to me.
People in business can get bank loans. They can borrow from family, friends and colleagues. They don't need to borrow money off a woman they just met on the internet.
The guy was not just a scammer, but he was also a bully. It’s crazy that she accepted that type of behavior. Even if 'Frank' was real I could not put up with rude, aggressive, demands of cash. Such a catch! Every victim the same scenario: They will pay you back, offer you luxurious life. The fact they send flowers to your own door is really creepy. Is somebody checking out your property/assets? Are you speaking with someone, who has actually been watching you? The victim selected purposely, through the dating site ((your profile picture/location). This person knew that 'Christina' had little more value to chase. Their intentions were to fleece 'Christina' out of every penny she had. Then just drop her. Save your hard earned money for yourself. Never send or borrow money to anyone.
She gave him her address….you think she stopped at all her bank information and personal identification information?? she’s just trying to save face like he “got the address” somehow Lmao.

Who asks a casual online acquantance for money for business purposes? Don't vicitms wonder how this person has managed for decades?
They make up BS stories that sound like obvious lies to most people but preys on the vulnerable and naive. Things like a big inheritance is coming and they just need a little help, they’re stuck in a foreign embassy with no access to their bank accounts (but assure that they’re loaded), a big box of gold and jewels in a box is waiting but have to pay the customs, all BS but all with a lot of money coming in the near future to pay them back and take care of them for life so they fall for that on top of wanting to be loved. They hook them with love first by “love bombing” to earn their trust.
Yea I do
Same thing with the CIA guys getting stuck abroad and needing money for a ticket home.
This scammer is even very rude. Difficult to understand why anyone would continue sending him money.
Imagine getting pissed. because someone can't send you money they don't have.
@beingchanzi.1285 It's part of the scam. If the victim isn't put off, then they know they have you on the line.
Easy way to find the professional victims. Most people would tell someone to go swivel if they were spoken to like that but if you're still hanging on they know they have a keeper.

Idk how she allowed a man on the other side of the world to control her.....I really hope she left and blocked his ass by now
It’s astonishing that this woman feels the need to justify herself and her finances to a complete stranger. I will never get this.

Totally agree!
Now that you brought that up, it's scary to think about. These people would literally marry people who verbally and mentally abuse them 😔
Even if I know the person, personally...it's none of their business how much $$$ I have....bring up $$$...and thats the quickest way to end my friendship !
you are right but I think there's also a degree of desperation on the victims' end... some of them have never had a relationship or haven't in a long time, so they'll do anything to have some form of a relationship

Or to any man, regardless. He's supposed to do nice things for you. There's a reason for this cultural norm, to help women weed out the weak, insolvent men who will not be good providers for their future family.
This is about on the advice level of 'make sure you look both ways when you cross the road'
This woman continued to send him money despite the fact that he is not only a complete stranger, the attitude and tone he gave her when he asked for money, like 'it's my money, send them to me now'. That he asked everyday what she had for breakfast, even if she said she never eat breakfast, is such a clear sign that they just follow like a standardized script saying the same things to a number of people. Like
At x time, say good morning to client a, b, c, d, e, f and ask what they had for breakfast.
