Bad weather rideout || POV Suzuki GS500E (loud Takkoni Sound)

Fahre auch den Takkoni. MMn der beste Auspuff klanglich neben dem ixil. Meine ist aber nicht so extrem am knattern. hast du da noch was verändert ?

Was für eine Vergasereinstellung fährst du ? Meine GS dröhnt nach dem Auspuffwechsel

Was heißt sie dröhnt? Hab nichts am vergaser verändert..

Welches BJ ist deine, und wie sieht dein Luftfilter aus, mit oder ohne Rohr?

@@seemerollin675 Ich hatte auch den Luffi mit dem Innenrohr und da lief das Mopped ganz gut mit dem neuen Auspuff und der 120er HD, ich habe mir dann von "Experten" im Forum sagen lassen, dass in meine BJ 1991 der Luffi ohne Innenrohr reingehört und seitdem, läuft sie bei Vollgas nt mehr richtig (zu mager). Ich habe jz die 122.5er versucht aber immernoch zu klein die HD. Ich befürchte, dass ich ne 125 oder höher brauchen werde. Aber dann wird die Karre bestimmt 7-8 Liter saufen, was komplett irre ist.

@@seemerollin675 400 euro ist nicht teuer.Ich weiss nicht was ist mehr wichtig 400 euro,evtl.auch finanziert oder ein richtig schlechte Unfall mit Behinderung...Gutr Fahrt.

Can I ask . . . .
I have a very low km, good condition GS500F that was stripped to naked set up, but it has been parked up for several years.
Thinking about riding again is how I found your channel
I can easily get it running again. I have braided lines, r6 rear shock/spring and front springs/emulators to upgrade the suspension. All bought before I parked it up.
But I was wondering if it is really worth it or just buy a new bike.
I was wondering why you have kept yours?
You clearly have money to own several bikes and would understand that in comparison. The GS was a very budget commuter at best when it was new. Let alone at 30+ years old in design.
I just want something reliable, cheap and fun to get more riding under my belt.
With newer bikes and your higher experience level. Why do you still love your gs?

​@@secretsquirrel9722 So the thing is, the GS500 was my first bike when i started riding 10 years ago, that's why im so connected to this bike. But i sold it last year (to a very good friend of me, so i can ride it from time to time). I think it's one of the best beginner bikes, its reliable, cheap and a lot of fun. After a few years there might be the wish for a bit more power, but maybe it's enough for you. I only sold it cause i share the nc750X now with my dad, as a travel bike it's just much more comfortable as the GS500. If i were you i would try to get it running, just see how it's going and dont put too much money in it. If you feel the need for a bigger bike you can still sell it...
