The rivalry comes from long standing rivalries between communities and different areas. Even the chants are a modern evolution of war chants. America doesn’t have history. I could go to an antique store at the end of my road and buy HUNDREDS of things over 500 years old and DOZENS OVER A THOUSAND YEARS OLD. Within minutes of my house I can drive down Roman roads and swim in Roman Lakes, see Roman ruins. I’m surrounded by ancient churches. Heck just dig a few shovels anywhere and you’ll find something. Just a few years ago their grandfathers fought wars against each other. Now they battle it out on the pitch and fans sh!t talk each other 😂
I wish the USA part was True because i was at a football game and they were chanting Random Stuff like 3 inches is enough. Like WTF that has nothing to do with football and college Games are even worse if you know what i mean
