@@kaifj792 yeah will definately be passing through as we have organised a car to rent for the ten days we are there and intend to drive all over Viti Levu and we can't wait
Kind of (vaguely) looks like how some Australian towns used to look like. In some ways, parts of the form we should bring back (eg less sprawl to push the country away)
Thanks for the comment. I believe the town development was largely influenced by Australians with an Australian gold mine located very close by. Maybe someone who knows more can correct me if I’m wrong.
@@kaifj792 you mean the olden company after World War 2 Emperor Gold Mine???????? Now it is another company doing the money there in Vatukoula that is it is no longer Emperor Gold Mine. Anyways this looks weird again in a way like more drier less greenery. Yep meself been to Vatukoula Gold Mines three times 90s and early 2000 after the coup. Went to see their tailings dam as well in Toko. Like that thing is super strong its waste it kills everything greenery in reality. Try doing a Drone footage over the Vatukoula Gold Mine if they allow right? Yeah you going to see the reality of how dangerous it is when it comes to waste disposal of cyanide and other extraction chemicals they used. More videos it be great to have a 2023 footage Drone Toko tailings dam and the Vatukoula Gold Mine zone. Thanks
Thanks DimereseiniN for your comment. Yes it was Emperor I was thinking of. I know they would have played a large part in the development of Tavua. I’ll keep it in mind next time I’m there to get a few shots of Vatukoula, although last time I was there the place looked very different, you might not recognize the place
Love the calming music.. truly brings out the essence of the place ❤
Thanks

That’s a great idea. You get to see more than just the tourist route. It’s very different from one side of the island to the other. Enjoy!
@@kaifj792 yeah I've always been like that, I'm not a beach holiday or tourist traps person I like to see the country, thank you will do so
Very beautiful scenery and relaxing music 😊
Thanks a lot. Appreciate the comment
