Nobody does this type of humor anymore! Something that sounds legit to the simple minded, but to the intelligent observer it is FREAKING HILARIOUS!!!!

Hilarious, just watched the documentary about him, Abel raises Cain on vimeo, can't believe I hadn't heard of this guy, genius!

Yup, it's a cable access production - three hot chics dancing for the end credits and the camera stays focused on Alan and close-ups of the snare, which I have to admit is a sweet Rogers piccolo!

"Let's take Germany as they say in Russia"; "It's so impossible I can't play it"; hilarious! Besides being a percussion legend he is very phunny. He must have been a blast to take lessons with! Does anyone out there who had him for a teacher have any stories???

Cave men n women tribe used grunts to comunicate with each other, the sound, length and how many grunts they understood and made the first known language called grunt, created alphabet too.

What? The alphabet, as in the western system of letters, was made by semitic people of the Levant, (Phonecians, Canaanites, Hebrews etc.) who created their own psuedo hieroglyphs at places like the mines and Hathor temple of Serabit El Khadim in the Sinai that was based on syllables and phonics and modeled after the Egyptian hieroglyphs
